security was on the pier only and they had a desk to collect your bags and boxes till the end of the cruise. No one looked into carry ons on the shore or ship.
-
they should be required to stand at their muster staitions for a half hour while the rest of us leave for cocktails and sail away and we can riducule them for being rinconsiderate. Maybe make them wear a life jacket for the rest of the day so everyone will know who they are.

depending on what line you cruise. The shop doesn't care. On HAL we get ours early on last day of the cruise. Never a problem w/ wine.
-
I felt the champagne prices were good but didn't check other wines as we brought plenty with us.There were a lot to choose from.
-
It would be up to the cruise ship. We turned in our boxes but kept the free minis and other free bottles in our carry on and nothing was said. Security was not on the ship.

The captain announced that failing to attend the muster will cause passengers not to sail. There was on situation on the 4th and another on the 11th. He kept requesting several passengers to come to the muster and be checked in and had to repeatedly ask for quiet. Some people never shut up during the muster as they felt they were sppecial. I think the couple on the 4th didn't sail.

where people talk on their cell phones during the entire time as if they had special rights and showed no concern for others. And others just talked to each other.

I would answer, "Sprechen sie Deutch" or Je parle Francais solemente.

usually allow any beverages packed in checked luggage to be delivered to your cabin. Thay usually collect any liquor from ports at security and hold it until the last day but not always.

with a negative report.Hard to believe that there was that big a difference between purchase price and appraisal. I don't buy at DI but that report doesn't ring true to me. Could be the op works for another jeweler.

we are taking the same cruise 2 weeks in a row but in different category cabins. We have done collectors cruises and keep the same cabin and cruise card. What do they do with us for the second week for check in and cruise cards? Do the stewards move us to the new (upgrade) cabin?

but they raised the mini bar prices about 30C ea.On the 27th as we were getting off.
-
and then they hold it until the last day.

and your son probably has seen more nudes and better bodies on the internet. Most of the nudists at Club Orient are not Playboy or Playgirl centerfolds. More like ones for the AARP magazine.

Just what you can carry as it's the same as if you bought it at home. If you drive then you really can save but you still must list it on customs form and note that it was purchased in PR.
-
so we can just wheel our bags to the dock.

That's a lot to pay to get a label and I doubt that the rum is even made in Cayman. It's probably bottled and labeled elsewhere and then brought in like Tortuga from Jamaica (Appleton) or Cruzan in St. Croix. For that price I would want a good aged rum.
-
I was given a bottle of Dutch vodka from Fockink distillery, French Armanac from Condom brand and of course we all know about Mt. Gay rum from Barbados. I am sure there are more out there but I haven't been given them.

I believe they sell it. Also there's another on the water side just after you get off the tender.
-
but you must have it delivered to the ship or pay the local price which is about double or more.

have purchased cars and charged them on our cards. A hold doesn't bother us. Credit cards are convenience cards to us to get air miles.
-
and it only benefits the company. It doesn't matter if it is a ship, airline or retail store.
-
is for shore excursions, specialty restaurants, flowers and pre ordered beverages. The HOLD is easy to handle if you have a good credit history. Just call your credit card company and request an increase to cover it. Unless you plan to max out your card before you sail, you shouldn't have a problem either.

It's Vibrant Jewels from Santorini Greece. They have very different items than you will find in all the other shops. And his prices are less than in Greece. 31A Front St. Ask for Anistasios. I think you will find something new here rather than the usual items that the others offer.

and their response and service was excellent and though it was expensive, I submitted the charge to Medicare, suppliment carrier and when I get their response, I then submit the unpaid charge to my cruise insurance carrier. Medicare has a special form for reimbursement while on a cruise.
