  1. In June I received this update with a link to all of the shore excursions for your cruise.  By clicking on the link, it brings up all sailing dates.  You click on your date and you have a printable list with details of all excursions on your cruise.

     Dear Azamara Guest,

As promised in our last letter, we wanted to share with you the latest updates happening at Azamara. We understand the importance of keeping you informed, and that is why we strive to share the most relevant and exciting news. In our ongoing efforts to enhance your booking experience, we are pleased to introduce a new feature: the Find my Reservation tool.

    • This “Find my Reservation” tool is designed to make managing your bookings even more convenient by giving you access to your booking details without the need to login or create an account. We believe this will provide you with a seamless and efficient way to navigate directly to your booking and reservation details.
    • This feature also allows you to book add-ons, shore excursions, land programs, pay for ancillary products, and update guest information.
    • Please note that loyalty account information and adding a new credit card requires logging in.

Additionally, we have made alternative arrangements to ensure that you have access to the complete list of our shore excursions. You can now view the available excursions specific to your ship and sail date by visiting the following link: Shore Excursions List.

    • Thanks 2
  2. JaneStarr,  So sorry you have to deal with this.  I’m now so happy we were able to cancel our flights made through Choice Air, and now have flights made directly with the airline.  I was afraid we would be in your situation.  I’m glad for you that your TA has a vested interest to be on top of this!

Really wish we hadn’t gone with cruise-line air. I’m unlikely to do that again.

Is it too late to cancel the air?  We made air reservations through Choice Air before the IT disaster.  After all the issues, I was able to cancel the air and rebooked directly with American because I didn’t want to worry about it for 6 months.  It ended up being about $60 less expensive booking direct.  Tried to cancel through Azamara since I booked the air directly through them (at the time, they were still with RCCL), but due to IT issues, I needed up cancelling through the TA (who I booked the cruise with, but not the air).  TA was able to do this, no issues.

  4. My TA was able to cancel my air reservations today that I made through Choice Air in January. She was able to do it on the TA portal to Azamara’s website while I was on the phone with her.  It took about 20 minutes.  So something is working. However, she did tell me that she was on hold for over 2 hrs. yesterday to speak with an agent to resolve an issue for a client. I can see on the Azamara website that my flights are no longer included in my invoice, so I am super happy to get this accomplished.  I was able to make comparable reservations with great connections directly with the airline, so I’m no longer worried about Azamara not ticketing the flights in time and losing my seats.   Going Premium Economy and there aren’t many of those seats .

Waiting to ticket flights until 30 days before sailings that were paid in full by 120 days before really seems UNACCEPTABLE!  What is typical? I know that in the past my agent would call choice air as soon as final payment was made, and flights would then be ticketed within a few days.

I’ve also read that they sometimes wait to ticket until 45 days before departure, but I’ve never seen making you wait until 30 days out.

I would very much like to cancel our air reservations with Azamara which we made with it was Choice Air and book our own for our cruise at the end of October.  We have not paid for the tickets yet. I have looked high and low for information about the cancellation policies of Azamara to do this, but haven’t found an answer.  The last thing I want to do is make another reservation and then owe for two flights.   I guess I need to call Azamara, but it sounds like that is a waste of time.   Has anyone cancelled their flights with Azamara and how did that work?

I just thought I was stressed when I booked this dream vacay back in January for May 6.  After two flight cancellations due to non payment in the last TWO weeks, I now have ticketed flight confirmation to Barcelona on May 4.  Too bad I’m now completely gray haired with the exception of the bald spots! 🤣  Fortunately, I now only need to worry about the $999,999.00 cost of a couple of my excursions leaving a huge balance owing with the threat of “automatic cancellation if not paid”!! (Paid in full 01/30/23).  Oh, and my prepaid transfer from BCN to cruise ship is gone now too.  I don’t have the time or inclination to address these issues at this time.  I will just take my receipts and hope for the best.

What a nightmare for you!!  There is obviously more going on with Azamara than website issues.

  8. I am considering cancelling my tickets booked through Choice Air.  What are the penalties involved?  I have not paid for them yet and it’s well before final payment. I can’t find any info about that on the emails I saved when booking.  It does say my tickets are refundable. Of course there is no information on the Azamara website.  Any ideas?  Calling seems useless.

We have an upcoming Azamara cruise sailing from Barcelona on May 30th.  We used Flights by Celebrity (before the March split) to reserve airline tickets in October 2022 and they were paid for in January 2023.  I've been getting anxious with all of the problems and tried to track it down this morning.   The Azamara phone message says to call Celebrity Air.  I called them and they have no record of any flights and said all of the information was given to Azamara.  I'm now on hold with Azamara (an hour so far.)  I know that flights aren't usually ticketed until 45 days before the cruise but at this point I would like them ticketed now.  Has anyone dealt with this type of issue since the problems started with the transition?

Yikes!   We have reservations through Choice Air as well, not paid for, for an October cruise.  I, too, called them and was directed to Azamara.  I do see on the new website our invoice.  It shows the amount we owe for the flights as well as the cruise, so I’m hopeful that the transfer of flights to Azamara control has taken place.  I’m curious as to how your situation resolves.   Please report back and let us know!

  10. So today when I logged into my reservation on Azamara website, there was a bar with my invoice (I booked with a TA).   When I clicked on the invoice, it showed the amount I owe for the cruise as well as for the air.   So I feel reassured that the air reservations I made through Choice Air have been picked up by Azamara after the split from RCI.  There were no specifics about the air reservations, just the amount I owed, which was correct.  🙏🤞

Did they happen to mention about transitioning existing ChoiceAir booking to their new Azamara Air vendor?

I would like to know the answer to this as well
