  1. We were on the last MSC cruise . Havana is amazing and it is totally going to hurt them . THey are saying if you had a flight then you would still be able to go but cruises are exempt. They can sail from other ports but no US port. It is really sad as it was the highlight of a 7 day MSC cruise .

  2. We are on MSC in May  They are advising that we can only get off if we have a ship excursion. They said that since we are there 2 days we have to have one for each day . IF it is a ship visa who has it . I am confused. We really do not want to do their excursion as it is very limited. IF we do the paperwork then do we print the visa . Did any one do Tropicana on their own

  3. I called Princess as this is an issue for us since we are mobile and have a traveling mail box. They said that they will be mailed out 4 weeks prior to the cruise no exceptions. We are in an RV and are only in a place up to a week which means we will not get them Asked if we can get at the port and it was a resounding NO> If you do not have it when you arrive it will be a standard cruise card. Makes no sense.

  4. I don't know the answer, but would also love to find it!

Sent from my QTAQZ3 using Forums mobile app

It is under destinations. Have to go to the bottom of the home page and found it . It gives currency and places to eat and things to do .

Leaving for the cruise in a couple of days and have absolutely nothing planned. Not a great idea but life got in the way /

  5. I have read and read. We are wanting to do Pompeii from the ship DYI. I thought the train was the easiest. Has any one then gone from Pompeii on to Sorento, I do not need to stay all day at Pompeii and want something additional. I would love to do Capri but understand it is one or the other .

  6. More than enough time. The 8:00 bus (the most comfortable public transit method, in my opinion) gets you to Pompei at 8:35.

So now I am confused. I thought the best way to get there was the train. I really am confused now how to get to Pompeii. Help is appreciated.

  7. Hi all! I am leaving Saturday from Port Canaveral, and GT is one of our stops. I had a few questions...

    1) I did a search on passport stamps, and came up with a few different, confusing results. DH and I like to collect passport stamps, and I heard there is a place to get them on GT. Where exactly is it, and how do I get there?

    2) Also, I read on here something about a trolley. I have an 8 month old, and between wrangling him and packing, can't recall the details. Does it cost anything, and where all does it go? How often does it go, and could I use it to get to where the passport stamps are? Also interested in finding a postage stamp.

    3) Where is the best place from the beach to snorkel? We have our own equipment.

    4) Does Grand Turk have any Haggle-type shopping like some other ports?

    5) Are there locker rentals anywhere to put our things while swimming on the beach?

    Thanks in advance!!

    1. We just got back. Looked for the passport stamp place and they said they had closed it.

2.There was no sign of a trolley maybe in town but not at cruise port.

    3. The snorkeling was ok right at the cruise port near the rocks

    4. There was only pre priced shopping by the chains and prices were high compared to other ports.

    5. There were locker rentals but you really do not need to worry no one will take anything. You just need a cc and sail and sign card.
