We booked our November cruise out of NY in January 2015. Balcony on Lido for $890 per person pluc $50 oc. As of now all balconies are sold out. My friend just booked the same cruise last week and paid $1250 per person for an interior cabin on Deck 7.

We are looking for a beach close to the port. We don't want to do the Carnival excursion. Are there any beaches close by that we can take a taxi to? Thanks in advance[emoji3]

We sailed once on NCL Gem and 3 times on Carnival. We will be on the Vista out of NY. In my opinion Carnival service is a lot better than NCL. As well as the food. After our NCL cruise my Mom said she will never cruise NCL again.

We were on the pride in August and had cabin 7195 extended balcony. Location was great. For us the extended balcony was worth it, depends how much time you will spend there.

We got off the Pride on 9/6 and I agree with some of your points:) Singer, Anna should not be singing as much. I am don't know the male singer's name, but he was much better. We enjoyed the food in MDR. We also did the Chef's table and we loved it!!! Amazing experience!! My 12 year old daughter ate it all:))

We did Norwegian Gem last Thanksgiving and will probably not do it again. Things we did like about NCL: convenience of leaving from NYC and the ports of call. Things we didn't like: food was terrible, MDR food was tasteless and it took forever, we only ate there 2 on a 9 night cruise. Buffet selection was very limited, we end up going to the specialty restaurants and ordering room service. Rooms were smaller, no bathrobes and the service was not as friendly as Carnival.

At first I didn't see it, it only showed 1 excursion but when I clicked on the price range of $50-$100 then it came up

Lido balcony is our favorite. We stayed on Lido on Sunshine and Splendor and we are booked on Lido for the Vista out NY. No noise or crowd issues.

I didn't like Gem. We didn't enjoy food in the Dining Room, it was blend and service was slow. We sailed Sunshine last year and can't wait until it's in NY:)
