Those two possibilities are not mutually exclusive.

The article says they will provide ferry service five days per week, Monday through Friday. That was not the case last year.

There's no mention of how many trips per day. Just like every year we'll have to wait until the schedule is published to see the details.

I'd wish they would run one more ferry per day.  In the past, you'd spend too little or too much time in St. George. Another scheduled ferry would give more options.

  2. Looking at the harbor cam and marine traffic maps this morning, I see an unusual amount of ships docked and slowly sailing around the port(s) of NY.  Some moored ships are in a day ahead of schedule (Liberty OTS in CL, for example).  Could this all be due to the Hurricane offshore?  Were their itineraries all drastically?  Missed ports?

Just came off the Eclipse, had a comedian / magican, a female singer called savannah, a male singer song writer and 3 production shows which were all excellent.

By any chance, would you know the names of the production shows?

    Sorry his contact info is:

    millarda@northrock.bm

More details please.  How much? How many people in the vehicle? Did he do a set tour, or tailor it to the requests of the group? Payment method? TIA.

You know we barely noticed it….Too busy watching that wake view…mesmerising…

Yes, watching the wake on a sunny and calm day is soooo relaxing.  But at night,  when you want to star gaze or watch the moon illuminate the ocean, the light from the stairway makes that nearly impossible.

Thank you.  Did you love the room. Was it far from the elevators since it is aft? I love the aft views 😍

Since the Summit has three elevator banks, we felt the walk was short (especially to luminae and tuscan). Room was very quiet and we barely felt movement.  The theater and lounge ARE a bit of a walk.

  7. In the past, I kind of remember that NCL would tie up at Heritage Wharf (adjacent to their shuttle boat to St. George).  Lately, I've seen NCL tie up at Kings Wharf a few times, making for a slightly long walk to their shuttle.  Is there any rhyme or reason for the swap?  Is it first come, first served?  Does one Wharf have any advantages over the other?

Charles4515 … we paid $50 per person for the excursion through Celebrity. We know now, total waste of funds! We thought by going through the cruise lines, we could save headaches of waiting for the ferry and possibly waiting in long lines to get back to the Dockyard. Live and learn!

Saw a post on another site where someone complained that their X excursion to harbor nights, which was scheduled to return to the dockyard at 9pm left by 8:50, leaving them in Hamilton.   They had to make it back to the ship on their own.

One word of warning, however, friends of ours were in a RS, booked Fine Cut day 2 through the shoreside concierge, enjoyed it so much they tried to book it again later in the cruise

Sorry,  what is fine cut.  First time I heard that.

  10. Finally, a topic I read all 58 replies.  So tired of the usual ones asking about upgrading the drink package, how much to tip, can I make the 9:00 AM flight home, Can I carry on a case of water, do I have to bring an evening gown, can I bring my toaster oven, which side of the cabin is the bed on, what time does the midnight buffet start, which side of the ship is better, will I see a whale, etc., etc.

Thank you, OP.  A fun topic.

    You noticed ????

This ( Rude guests on a cruise ) would make a good thread for discussion on CC.

LOL-- Maybe not as many pages as " Who's the Captain on our cruise in December 2025 " --- " Here's some pictures of our dinner last night "---- " My luggage tags are lost in the mail --Now what do you suggest I do " ?

I'm sure you can list 50 or more topics that have been beaten to death on this forum!
