I just did the DIscover Scuba I. Bermuda and had a great time.

Is it worth it ? The short answer is YES!

I did Discover Scuba in Cancun this past April and a few months later in Bermuda.

Both times the instructors were very good and the entire group had a great time.

I am going to get certified.

I did this excursion in late June.

Our dive started from the beach. I think 12- 15 ft was our max depth.

The dive master took four of us. She was very good and made sure we were all comfortable in shallow water before we went deeper.

The water was warm so we did not need wetsuits.They did offer them at no additional charge. They also have masks for those who wear glasses.

I know this is an old thread, but we are wondering the same thing for our Bermuda cruise in 2 weeks.

A group of us just did the DQ excursion booked through Royal Caribbean.

They do not allow participants to have cameras but spectators are welcome to take pictures.

Great videos! I'm signed up to do the discover Scuba excursion later this month. I'm planning on taking my GoPro on the dive as well. What kind of tether did you use for your camera?

We did the PADI Discover scuba at the Dockyard and loved it!

You mentioned you are not a Scuba guy but if you decide to give it a try you don't need to be certified .

I just got back from Anthem 5 day cruise to Bermuda.

We did Discover Scuba right at the Dockyard the first day in port and it was Awesome!

The second day we took a cab to Horseshoe Bay, what a beautiful beach but it was crowded with two ships in port.
