Sounds yummy; December cannot get here soon enough
-
It’s the same or slightly smaller than the size of a standard tub

Bounce back offers do not get gifts. The premier cruises are totally different. You receive offers throughout year and receive cash gifts and special events exclusive to the Premier cruise. They are held on specific sailings.

Went last December. At that time I weighed 188 and I'm 5'5. It was a tight fit especially if you sit on the inside which I did on the return. If they sit in the aisle seat much better but still tight. The guy that was with me was 6'1" and weighs around 240 and didn't complain. It's a lot of fun.

Well I should hope she is not dry docking January 3rd since you can book a cruise on her for January 2nd. I believe Ann at CCL is mistaken as there are no sailings dec 1 thru dec 16.

I'm booked on her for the first sailing after dry dock December 17. Anyone have any experience in first sailing after dry dock like embarking possibly earlier etc

The food at Chef's Table is an gastronomical experience unlike any other. Food at steakhouse is very good but something you can experience at a land based upscale steakhouse; whereas chefs table not so much. I would go with Chefs Table.

Every time I have attended the CT the attention to detail and service has been impeccable and deserves well over the 15% tip. If you do not like the idea of the auto tip don't attend simple as that.

John Heald indicated on his FB that a new menu is being announced and he would be providing the menu soon. Apparently on the inaugural sailing of Vista. I am waiting patiently (ha) as I sail on Freedom in Oct and have reserved Chef Table. Cannot wait.

It was one of my favs and will take it over creme brûlée any day. I love creme brûlée; however, Carnival puts too much sugar on top causing a thick gritty topping. Both times the creme has been runny too.

Actually my 2 top was along the railing in the middle by itself. I much prefer eating alone than taking a chance and ending up with others who might drive me crazy. Service is much better and attentive IMHO.
-
Not so. I went solo in December and had YTD and sat by myself every night. MaitreD never asked if I wanted to sit with others.

You can arrive anytime during your time slot or after - just not before

I had an ext aft balcony in September and ours was number combination

I generally tip an extra dollar for each drink in cash. Have never experienced unhappy bartenders have always been pleasant and great service
