I have read on this topic listing that Medallion Net does not work as well in the Alaska region as in the Caribbean due to the northern location.  Excuse me if this has already been asked, but does Medallion Net work any better on New England/Canada cruises?  Thank you.

Pitaschio Dome is my favorite!  Had it once on a cruise in Alaska and loved it!  Taking another cruise in Oct 2019 to New England and Canada and hope to indulge again!

Yes, and I am doing that again in about two weeks.  I live close to the port and if I like the ship I always can find things to do and people to talk to.

Enjoyed your review very much. This will be my second time on Epic in a studio cabin and now that I have done this before on the Epic (Eastern Caribbean) I will know the layout, etc. of the ship. Probably will try another NCL ship for my final "cruise next" deposit.

I don't cruise as much as many of the folks on CC, but I always look for Bob's answers. He most definitely has answered some of my questions I haven't even asked yet! Thanks Bob!

I just took a cruise solo over Thanksgiving week on Rhapsody of the Seas out of Tampa. I had a balcony cabin and never got any hassles over it. I enjoyed the cruise very much!

We were finally in the air and headed home. There were no explanations as to why our plane was late x3 but I was just glad to be headed home finally.

 

 

 

All these delays and this time all we would receive were some roasted peanuts. Usually you get peanuts and some type of crackers or chips. Nope, not this time.

 

 

 

We did have a little bit of bumpiness along the way and our funny flight attendant came on and said "As a courtesy to other passengers on the plane, please do not shake the plane while we are in flight. Thank you". He was pretty funny and his safety drill reminded me of Dr E's on the ship. It kept your attention and kept you laughing.

I also am a solo traveler and will be on the Epic on Feb 17, 2018 for western Caribbean cruise. I have already signed up for the M&G and to do a day trip on Jamaica with a group from CC responses. This will be my third solo cruise, second on the Epic. The last trip I took on the Epic I did not go to the solo gathering the first evening, and this time I definitely will go the first evening. I believe you will have a great time and I have no hesitation in traveling solo.

Really enjoyed reading about your trip! Two of us are leaving in mid-August and will do a 5 day land tour and then our cruise. Really looking forward to it!
