My husband and I try to avoid the buffet as much as possible on any cruise. Can anyone discuss the quality of food in the Adventure MDR for breakfast or Lunch? We have plans to eat in CHOPS one night for our anniversary and the rest of the nights in the MDR for dinner. We are cruising in a few weeks. 

I was looking at the wine list on NCLs website. I noticed you can get a glass or a glass and a half according to the list. Can you order a glass and a half of wine at dinner if it's under $15 under the UBP?

In the dining room could I order a Cappuccino or a Hot Chocolate? I'm not sure what counts as a specialty coffee drink.

With the UBP are any dessert drinks in the main dining room available like baileys in coffee or coffee liquor.

My sister has had the UBP twice on her cruises on NCL. Both times she said it was amazing because she could order what she wanted whether it be soda, coffee, cocktails and not worry about finishing or liking it. She said that everything is included except for top shelf. She said when you go to a bar look at the very top top shelf of the liquor and that's what your not allowed to have on the UBP. But even really expensive stuff like makers mark and other bourbons were still included!

We were on the Summit 3/21-3/28. Here were the drinks of the day:

Non-alcoholic - Watermelon Tropic $5

Monday: same as Sunday

THanks for the list and the prices! I love side cars and rum punch… Yellow birds are also a favorite cruise drink of mine. I only seem to get them on a cruise though. THanks again for the info!

Hi everyone. I will be traveling on the summit in August. Wondering if anyone had a list of past celebrity drink of the day options and possibly prices from the summit. I will not be getting a drink package this time as we booked an inside and there were no drink deals. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I see the 599 price . its 1/2 the price of an OV. Its a good deal with the OBC to

its possible that other cruise lines will drop their prices too as the dates get closer but I didn't want to leave it to the last minute. I think we got a great deal especially thats its on Celebrity! Would have liked a drink package too but the OBC will do just fine. We are not big drinkers. I don't really care for bottle water or specialty coffees. I may have a couple sodas and 2-3 drinks per day but I still don't think I would drink enough to cover a drink package.

Yes... when you do anytime dine you must prepay the grat.

what was your base cruise rate pp?

It was 599pp as we booked a GTY inside. Never done a guaranteed room before. We are not picky people so I'm sure we will manage in any room we get. We are just happy to be back on board this year. My mom and I have needed a vacation for so long already. We almost had to book it with those kinds of prices. We are going on the august 9th sailing. We are a little nervous to be sailing to Bermuda in august. Has anyone had problems of hurricanes?

So I just authorized and completed my booking.. but looking at the amount owed i noticed that they included pre-paid gratuities. When I initially booked i was able to check off that I did not want to prepay them but I guess because we chose anytime dining they had to be added..

On the plus side looks like we ended up with more OBC than we originally thought.. I guess my online TA was offering $75 and Celebrity was offering $50 so we ended up with $125 OBC which will be very nice.

Does anyone have a list of the prices of the spa packages/services while in port? I will be traveling on the Summit in august to Bermuda. I've always wanted to try the spa but the treatments are so darn expensive I could never justify it. I know that in port days the spa usually has a sale. Since we will be docked in bermuda for 3 days I'm sure I will spend one of the days on board and I was looking to get a massage or a pass to the spa. Hoping someone can help!

Is a drink package really worth it in your opinion? I'm just curious. I like my fruity drinks and martinis but I still don't think I would drink $300+ for it to be worth it. The premium list did have more alcohols listed on it.

So if you like a margarita with a certain liquor like patron than it might be worth the extra price.

Looks like the 8/9 sailing date is lower too.. we got the $599 deal through an online TA with $75 OBC… Not too shabby IMO for a summer cruise where everything we had looked at was starting at 799+ for an inside cabin out of NY/NJ. The cabin to us is not really a bid deal since i feel like I'm hardly in my room anyway.

We haven't been on a celebrity cruise in ten years back when we sailed the Galaxy before it left the fleet. Very excited to finally be back on cruise critic. Its been so long I forgot my login/pw and had to make a new username.. lol
