Any Updates on The Cabanas for February?
I still have not seen them on the February 10th sailing.
Looking for reviews but have not found anyone yet reviewing them..
Thanks
Ed
We booked one last week for our Feb 3 sailing. Make sure to check under dining.

Look under Dining and Beverage … for a Edge Cabana (up to 4 guests) $400 USD/person … for a Edge Split Cabana (up to 2 guests) $200 USD/person …
Unfortunately all booked for our sailing so far …
Thought the pricing was per cabana, like the alcoves on S class.

Our agent called and was told that cabanas for our sailing are not yet on sale. Only December on sale so far.

If you booked with an agent then they must do this for you. Calling Celebrity will not get you anywhere
We always book with an agent and always book our onboard fun and excursions on our own. The only real difference with an agent is you can’t call X directly to change the cabin or cancel/change the booking.
p.s. I grew up in NS.

We tried calling several times today, but were stuck on hold for unreasonable lengths of time, the last time being 40 minutes. I'm having our agent give it a try.

Maybe they’re sold out for your sailing already? It should appear under Dining in the Travel Planner.
I hope not. I've been checking pretty obsessively. I was hoping it could be a Christmas present for my husband.

Anyone have any experience of this? When did they show up for your sailing. I had read they appear as a Food and Drink option but this has not yet been the case for us, some six or seven weeks to go.

I don’t find these in my cruise planner. Any advice on where to find them?
-
Does anyone know about the cabanas at the pool? We are wondering:
- how you reserve them
- how much they cost
- how many people one will accommodate
- any inclusions.

The spa one was a few weeks ago. Still waiting on Entertainment and maybe shops?
-
No, buying it in San Juan, putting it in a rolling duffle (I have a lightweight foldup one) and attaching a luggage tag to it. Just going to check it in at the ship with the rest of our luggage.
That’s what I meant. They stack checked bags ten tall. Good luck.
-
As checked luggage? I'd presume that might rupture all over the luggage of others.

thanks. Not a cheap thing but it beats lugging water onboard at every stop.

Is the water unlimited or do you get a certain number of bottles?

Hello,
And a warm welcome to my small, but perfectly formed, thread.
There's still plenty of time for more to come out of the woodwork.
I see you are on the 'Edge' - I wonder what they have done on the port side to counter-balance the weight of the Magic Carpet unless you have a permanent list.
Regards,
Cublet
I've been wondering that, too. They have dribbled out details on that ship at an exceptionally slow rate, considering that it takes on passengers this fall.

We will be onboard. Three gay Canadians.

We will be there

People have lots of reasons for not wanting to mingle. When we are traveling with a mixed group of friends, we are less likely to want to split off and meet new people, gay or otherwise. We don’t always attend the GLBT gatherings because the odd time we have, they have either been great or there have been very few people there but among the few were some “interesting” folk, including those who were rude or cruisy to the staff, who can do nothing about it whether the clumsy overtures were welcome or not. There have also been some who were aggressively cruisy toward us (and I’d call us extra average looking) in ways that were unwelcome and awkward to shut down. We have met people who tend to get clingy, also. One of the funniest oddballs we met, we did so with no plan at all to attend the GLBT gathering. We were walking past the lounge where it was happening and the lone attendee yelled at us from the bar, saying “THE GAY GATHERING IS IN HERE!” We also once met a man who was traveling with his mother, who thought the Friends of Dorothy party was for her, that being her name. She was thrilled. That said, all these interesting folk are in the minority. Most are nice enough to meet and if we do meet other folks, gay or straight, it adds to the memory.

For what it's worth, i went to a Celebrity presentation at a TA last week and the rep said the next reveal is in March...sometime. Of course, she also said the ship would have 4,000 pax and lost half the room. I'm pretty sure everything I've read so far says about 2,926.

We did this on the Reflection and it was great fun.

O.k. What I had seen was a message on Facebook referencing a Celebrity Instagram posting.

Thanks Tom. If bookings are as strong as the rumours say, it must be difficult to know when to dribble out the next piece of information to keep bookings going

I think they plan to re name the AQ spa Cafe...b/c of confusion with AQ class.
Space looks sterile and hideous like at the mall food court....but at least the tables are sep from lounge area and may discourage the all day card players! Seems it will afford a nice view of the sea,
Hope the menu will be more like the original AQ spa cafe compared yo the pre plated bowls..
I like the preplating, frankly. Contains germ spread
Want to book a cabana on Edge for Feb but it's still not showing up to book
