I worried about this, couple of tips for home printing your tags:
- Print them on a LASER printer, the toner will not run if it gets wet.
- Print on thicker paper or thin card stock, this makes them more durable.
- Don't put them on until you're out of the airport and almost at the cruise terminal - that way they'll last longer.

We're just eager because we've got cruises booked on Explorer I guess, need to know if they've done something we'll love or hate.
Would love: A Gin Bar
Would hate: Even more Dreamworks/Barbie stuff.

Just for context:
Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, was compensated $9.22m in 2014 (in salary and shares).
Apple is the world's biggest, most value, company that's making money hand over fist.
$12m for the Royal Caribbean CEO seems a bit steep.

Damn, wish I'd seen those.

It won't be fast. Think 56k dial up speeds. But if all she's doing is attaching word documents and the such to emails then it'll be fine.

Glad you all liked it :D

If you and your partner ever decide to tie the knot I'm available for best man duties! Good luck! You guys can share my table any time!!!
Aww, I've just woken up and that has really made my morning. Thank you Elvis. What a gent! :D

For the fellow lushes amongst us the drinks are, in order:
* Ultimate Bloody Mary
* Blended Frozen Mojito
* Frozen Lemonade (Ask for it to be made with Absolut Mango instead it's amazing)
* Kettle One Vodka Redbull
* Kir Royale
* Bellini
* More Bellinis
* Bahama Mama (in light up glass at Miami themed pool party)
* Gin and Tonic (Hendricks)
* More Gin and Tonics
That was all on one day at sea, and I probably (definitely) missed some too. That lot would come to $116 roughly. So you can see why I get the beverage package!

On our last cruise, aboard Liberty OTS, we had the most amazing bar tender (in the middle below) called Anna.
Each night my partner Tommy and I would go to the Viking Crown, at 19:00, for a cocktail before dinner. I always had a martini, and Tommy always had a bellini - and we tried to sit in the same seats (great view over the ship).
After the first day she knew our names, after the second day she knew our drinks.
On the third day we walked into the Viking Crown and our table was roped off, our drinks were on the table and a little sign 'Reserved for Tom & Tommy'.
Needless to say she got a MASSIVE tip. One of my best memories.

I now book through an American travel agent so that I can take advantage of the price drops and all of the other cool
Incentives and the flexibility that our friends over the ocean get compared to us here in the UK.
Would be interested on hearing how you did this - up for sharing? :D
-
We can but hope! That'd make a huge difference on it's sailings in and out of the UK with our "changeable" weather.

Good for you!!!
And as others have said, if it gets too much there are tables for two - you could move to one of those. :)

You'd think it would be cheaper for RCCL to have these people air-lifted off the ship rather than altering course which costs tens of thousands of dollars in fuel, last minute docking fees etc.

I miss the Liberty! Thanks for the video! What was that green drink by the pool it looked really good?
That's a frozen blended mojito :)
-
Thank you Judy, that's EXACTLY what I was looking for - and don't they look lovely.

That's excellent Ken, thank you.
Think I'll book myself one of those. You only turn 30 once, eh? ;)
Cheers!

Having worked in TV and film production for a while I can tell you a SURE FIRE way to get a crew to stop filming and pay attention to you...
Swear, swear loudly and repeatedly. It stops them being able to use the footage they're recording. They'll have to stop, and start another take - in which time you can clamber through and get to your room.
It's the same reason that, if you've ever been to a TV recording, TV presenters/guests will often deliberately swear if they make a mistake - so the studio can't use the footage.

Ok cheers. That clears things up a bit.
Are they same size etc as existing cabins? Would be nice to be up front I think.
Hope someone who's been in them has a photo!

This is why I'm asking, I'm confused by the new layout!
My TA said that there were new balcony cabins being added at front and back. Was hoping to get other people's opinions and pictures so I could choose!
Yours,
Gormless Tom ;)

I know we all have different ideas of what makes the perfect cruise for us.
From this video you can probably tell for me it's food, alcohol and dancing. Hopefully I'll find room to do all of those on Explorer this coming October.

Hey!
Noticed you guys love sharing media from your various cruises, and whilst I'm waiting patiently (not patiently at all, I'm counting down every month week hour and minute) to my new cruise in October I thought I'd share a video with you.
This is a video collage I did from a day at sea aboard Liberty of The Seas in June 2014. We had a promenade room, and were sailing around the Mediterranean from Barcelona.
The music on the video is quite punchy, but it was what they were playing every night in the nightclub (something I'm sorely going to miss as the remove them) - so feel free to lower your speakers.
Hope you like it!
Comments always welcome! :D

I'm on your birthday cruise in October (and think I've already wished you happy birthday on shipmate) - looking forward to meeting ye!
Oh that's you? FAB!
Are you coming to the Meet & Mingle? :)
-
I have quite bad social anxiety, so have never ate in the main dining room, on the past 4 cruises I've been on we've always ate in the windjammer but I'm hoping to gain the confidence and try the main dining room on our transatlantic crossing next year!
You'd always be welcome at my table GiggleBee :)

I thought the panoramic oceanview rooms were the one with the huge windows along the room but no balcony? We want somewhere outside to sit (and drink).
