We just got back and found Uber to work well for us in Newport and Boston. Bar Harbor and Halifax were easy walking towns.

We found a real find on the main street walking up the hill as you get off of the tender. Down East Deli is just a take away spot that has four choices of Lobster Rolls. Classic cold with light mayo, Plain with no dressing, lightly dressed with tarragon mayo and of course the hot buttered! Each is only $12.99 and make for a nice snack. That price gets you a bag of chips also. And they made a pretty good blueberry pie. Everybody has them but that was the cheapest by far and we really didn't want a sit down lunch.

I had my first taste of poutine while in Halifax. We really enjoyed Smoke's Poutinerie.

Any idea what the final cost is? Also, I have an 11am flight on a Saturday in October. Hoping if we have priority disembarkation, we can make it.

Thanks for the responses. With an 8:30am flight, I think I'm going to stay in Nice. Any hotel recommendations? Also, is a taxi the best way to get to Nice from Monaco?

Looking for some advice from someone with experience. I'm disembarking at Monte Carlo in late September with a flight out from Nice the next morning. Wondering whether to stay in Monte Carlo for the night and find an early ride to the airport. Or, stay closer to the airport in Nice. Any opinions?
I was only planning one at a time. Just very close together so I can bring both to the room. I don't want a bar set up, I will want wine at dinner, martinis and drinks in the casino. My question is since my husband will not have one, if I fey them within minutes of each other will this cause anyone to get suspicious?
A healthy tip to a friendly bartender at the nearest bar, and a little honesty, might get you your two drinks at once.
Also, fresh squeezed orange juice and a separate full glass of champaign, would make two Mimosas better than you could get at the bar anyway!:D -
Does RCCL allow 2 bottles of wine per stateroom? The website makes it seem like you can't bring anything on. I would think you should be able to bring a bottle or two of your own wine cellar.

One step down from the 3-ring binder would be those manilla folders with sides built in. They expand to one inch and things don't slide out of the side. I start one early on and keep adding to it whenever I get something worth taking. Once I get the cruise docs, I start organizing it and putting the items in a logical order from parking to check in etc.
This trip I have started something new. I used Adobe Acrobat to create a 50+ page document with all the information I could find. I down loaded the Princess brochure in pdf format from their web site and used the deck layout pages and a few others. I also found a full set of the daily news flyers from a recent cruise on the same ship/itinerary. I also found a few menus. I even found the port map info you ususally get the morning of your port stop. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but my daughter has been reading it every day.
I always say, whatever floats your boat!!!
best Newport tour to see the mansions?

We used Uber when we were there last week. About $8 each way for the two of us in a private car.
