We did it a couple of weeks ago and would recommend it.
Thanks so much for your reply! I have been debating whether or not to cancel the NCL Baths excursion since I've read it can be done so easily on our own. My only concern was the Escape's short port time in Tortola. I'm so happy to hear firsthand that it can be done in the amount of time we'll be there.

We had a great day doing the three beach snorkel trip with St Thomas Scuba and Snorkel Adventures. I found them on trip advisor and our day was perfect. Their guide was on time, geared our trip to the ability and interests, and guided the trip pointing out sea life. Hope to book another tour with then the next time we are in St. Thomas
So good to hear that on CC as we have booked with them for our April cruise based upon TripAdvisor reviews. We've decided to do their 5 hour boat snorkel tour.

So...I sent emails to 3 people at NCL (got addresses from previous poster) with my concerns and mentioned CC. I got quick phone call from NCL and.....seriously...she insisted that the NCL site indicated the correct time of 8-6 in St Thomas and ALWAYS HAD!!! I assured her that that was NOT the case-- to look at CC if she had some reason to disbelieve me but, she, basically inferred that it was all ME and MY MISTAKE!!! Of course, when I got off the phone, I checked and the site had been corrected.
So... as of NOW ( but, tomorrow, who knows??) the St. Thomas hours are back to 8-6 though, Tortola has changed to 7-3pm. When I mentioned my concerns regarding all the website errors and general miscommunication, she had no response at all...
Anyway... we are back to the better port time for St Thomas.....at least for now!
To bad you can't send her my screen shot.

Thanks RJ1! We leave next Saturday and I'm sure we'll use several of your tips. Now I know I'm going to be ready to go straight to the Aqua Rider as soon as we board.
