  1. I'm sorry. Don't know that one. We had carry on bags but kept them with us.

Enjoyed your review! We sail in October. When I cruise, I prefer carrying my own bags onboard, do u know which room was set up for cruisers to drop bags to pick up later after lunch? Thx

  2. I asked them on twitter and was told their last show is 7/14. Original cast is being replaced after that. Ncl has been holding auditions.

Does anyone know their last week on the ship?

I saw it mentioned somewhere they were off mid July. We are thinking of jumping on the July 15 trip and it would be a big selling point compared to the competing Lines if they were still onboard.

Thanks to everyone for the reviews!

  3. You're not going to find those types of activities at Bermuda's beaches (thankfully), but at the Dockyard KS Watersports has jet ski tours...which by the way are always escorted in Bermuda...you can't go out on your own on a jet ski, parasailing tours and a high speed boat called the Wildcat. There are also jet skis available from Somerset Bridge Watersports, and H2O sports. Several companies also have motor boat rentals and. kayak rentals. Check the websites of the companies I just named for an idea of what they offer.

Thanks. I kind of knew that about the beaches and it is one of the reasons Bermuda beaches are my favorite. I will look into your suggestions for my daughter. This cruise is a high school graduation celebration.

I've been to horseshoe Bay many times. What would be your suggestion for best beach for r & r? Thanks again

  4. Heading to Bermuda on the Norwegian Escape 7/1/18 and looking for where to go for some beach fun. Jet skiing, banana boats, maybe parasailing, etc. We've been to Bermuda many times and usually just veg out at horseshoe Bay (we're going to do that again) but would like to try another pretty beach that has some activities. Any ideas are welcome and thank you in advance.

  5. I know it's been mentioned elsewhere but I'm sailing Anthem tomorrow and was unable to book puzzle room ahead of time. I'll be one of the first to board and was looking to see where the best place to go would be to make a reservation. Thanks in advance.

  6. I know a jackets is required for grand so I assume pants as well[emoji3], does anyone know if shorts are ok in other dinning rooms. Most of our guys have great looking dress shorts and collard shirts. So I guess the question is short pants or long pants?

    Shorts work

  7. Hi All!!!

Can you guys let me know what is "acceptable" in the MDR for the non-formal nights?

Can guys wear like Docker type shorts with a nice top? Or is there no shorts allowed?

    Thanks!!!:D

It's supposed to be no shorts but many men, including myself, wear shorts with a nice shirt. Have been doing it for the past few cruises. 20 years ago I wore slacks and button down shirts.

  8. thank you so much.....have been to Bermuda a few times and never have seen this beach.......its time :) plus I hate the stress of having to get to certain excursions at certain times etc.... life is scheduled enough, its a vacation for a reason ;)

Would you recommend the vans as well.......we took the bus last time out to Elbow Beach area and it was relentlessly slow and stopped so often......never again

As others have said, just go to the end of the pier when you get off the ship and you'll see the line of people for taxis. There will be vehicles of varying sizes coming and going to accommodate groups of any size. It goes pretty quickly and you'll be off to the beach. $7 pp. Easy as pie. Coming back is just as easy. No worries

  9. Thursday I booked two inside guarantees on the July 23 Anthem. Already assigned two large interiors down the hall from each other and I'm happy with the rooms. Traveling party is me, hubby and 19 year old twins. Because they are not 21 we had to book the rooms me with one and the hubby with one. My husband and I will share a room and the Twins the other. Obviously the challenge is gaining access to a room you are not assigned too. Will guest services give us access to both rooms?

Yes. As previously stated you'll get basically whatever you want. I'm also going on the July 23 sailing as part of a sweet 16 celebration for my daughters friend. 4 girls, all 16 will be sharing a room and bday girls parents will get extra key cards. Guest services is very accommodating
