  1. I went and changed my reservation with Enterprise to Thrifty. Not to save 20.00 in cab fare, but I did'nt want the hassle of being at port waiting with 2 kids for my husband to arrive:( Thanks everyone for this information.

Most of the car rental agencies at FLL share a shuttle bus that will transport you from Port Everglades to the airport as jogoffee posted. The signage is everywhere directing you to the pickup location, the shuttle bus is well marked and runs quite frequently to the airport car rental center. Piece of cake. ;)

  2. I contacted enterprise regarding our reservation. They stated they do not have a shuttle (as stated by previous poster) They also stated they recommend one person drop the family at the port while the other returns the car. A taxi from the airport for one is 10.00 she said. I know when I made this reservation they said they had a shuttle. Thanks for this information, I hate surprises like that:rolleyes:

  3. :D This was our first cruise. It was a 3 day cruise Walt Disney combo honeymoon in 1988.We were on the oceanic. I was sea sick the first night. After that we had a great time. I also celebrated my 22nd. birthday. Thanks to cruise critic I know now to to take dramamine with us this cruise. We also are taking our 13 and 8yr. old children. Our 13yr. old is going to wear the t-shirt I got on from our snorkling trip:rolleyes: at salt cay.
