I took the deal lol and am very happy with it! Only ever sailed in interiors so if it ends up being not so great, at least I can say I got to be in a balcony. I am so unbelievably excited for our cruise and like I said, it's our honeymoon. Plenty of activities I'm sure my handsome man and I can find to occupy our time lol. I did mention it was our honeymoon to the very nice lady I spoke to on the phone when I did upgrade. I made sure to be extra nice and hopefully someone somewhere will smile upon our young love and be extra kind to us!

Thanks everyone for all the positivity! And for those that weren't so positive, I still appreciate your feedback but you only live once and I'm not going to be afraid of what could happen! If I can't sleep...there's plenty to do to occupy my time. It's my honeymoon after all! 😂

I hear what you guys are saying, but I figured it (hopefully) can't get any worse than it already was. I went ahead and booked it hoping for a really good location. I'm going to look at it from the glass half full perspective. I was going to keep it a secret from my husband, but I couldn't and as soon as he got home from work, I told him and he is so excited and shocked at how cheap the upgrade is. Only 39 more days to go!!! We seriously can't wait!

I have posted about this before so I apologize in advance. The price for a guarantee balcony has now gone down to $20 more than what I paid to choose my own ocean view room. My concern is 1) where they will put me as I would hate to be above the club 2) I have a $50 onboard credit I would lose (and I can't decide if it's worth it to lose that and risk getting a crappy room) and 3) I have FTTF. Forgive me for being so naive, but how does that work with a guarantee if I don't have my room assignment until possibly the day before or day of that we sail? My head is spinning with all of the possibilities. I just want this to be an amazing cruise because it is my husband's first one and our honeymoon and I just want to have the best experience. What we currently have is a 6C ocean view room which is below the restaurant/galley which isn't that great either. Right?!! Someone help please!! :confused::confused::confused: Thank you!

I booked an early saver rate and just recently got a $50 bar credit from a sale. I noticed today that my cruise fare has gone down about $40. If I price match to that, will I lose my OBC I already have? Thank you.

Yeah I just called and spoke with them and I'll lose the onboard credit I have and I just don't if it's worth it. I thought maybe playing the honeymoon card would help, but no such luck. 😰

Yeah it's out of Miami. And I know it was filling up pretty fast before final payment but either a lot of people didn't pay or they just opened up a bunch of rooms cause it looks like there's a lot more rooms available now.

How long does it take to get your assignment? We are sailing on the Glory on 9/3/16 and have FTTF does that matter at all?

Can anyone tell me about any experiences you've had with guarantee cabins? Right now, we have an onceanview cabin in a decent location. This will be our honeymoon cruise and I really think my husband (we got married in April and due to work, we had to wait to schedule our honeymoon) would love a balcony but he won't admit it because it's more expensive. I'm considering upgrading to a guarantee balcony because it's only $100 more right now. I'm just worried about getting stuck above or below a club or some nonsense like that. Please help!! Our flight leaves at the same time. Will we be able to get off the boat and get through customs if we walk off at 8? We have FFTF and I have no problem taking my luggage with me if necessary. I did not think about this and now am really worried. What can hold you up in customs?

Does anyone know if it will still be in dry dock mid April 2016? I'm booked on the Splendor for my honeymoon on the 17th and there really aren't any comparable cruises and I really don't want this to ruin our honeymoon.
