Ahh bringing back memories. We sailed her with the same itinerary a couple weeks before on June 9th! Great log.

Carnival Splendor 1116 on the spa deck. The stairs from the spa deck (11) leading up to the water slide are right next to your room. From around 11 am-5pm you hear constant thumping non-stop as people run up and down all day. If you're up at the crack of dawn and don't spend much time in your room then it should be no problem though.

Hey all, cruising Splendor from NYC tomorrow. Sail time is 4pm but we have a reservation at the steak house at 6:30 on the first night. What time does luggage usually arrive to the room? Will this give us enough time to shower/change into formal attire? Tried doing a search but couldn't find anything specific. Thanks!

Not sure if my initial post was unclear, sailing Splendor and the initial room we booked was 1084-balcony. So yes, essentially deck 10 to deck 11. Looks like I'm going to do it, thanks!

Hey all, leaving from NYC on the 8 day Eastern Caribbean. We booked a balcony room initially (1084) but got a call from a Carnival rep today stating someone backed out of a spa 9 balcony. He would upgrade us (2 people) to the room for $100 total ($50 each). Not sure if I plan on booking any massages but would the other amenities be worth the $100 over the course of the trip? Thanks!

Hey all, going on my first cruise in as long as I can remember on June 9th sailing Splendor for 8 days to Eastern Caribbean, stopping in Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau. I was looking at booking shore excursions such as snorkeling but was worried since I'm easily prone to getting sea sick. How are the waters around those ports in mid June? Has anyone who has booked any of the snorkeling excursions where you take a short boat ride out can chime in on how the ocean conditions are? Thanks!
