I it's free but not a lot of equipment. Bring a few balls if you want to play because they only had about 10. We had 1 ball and all 5 of us shared it

Did they ever say exactly what happened? I'll be on her on May 6th, and it would just be a shame if it were something that could happen again. I'd hate to get 50% off and then another 50% off another cruise...;)

Ha! I was thinking the same thing about our trip in July. Our last cruise didn't have any sea days and I'm really looking forward to having two on our 5 day Fantasy this summer.

I have never feared handing over my D4 or my D810 to a fellow. The difference, I pick the person and ASK that person, I don't accept an invitation. Never been turned down, generally you find someone with a DSLR walking around, highly unlikely they will run off with yours and their camera.

 

Your co-workers mistake was to accept. Kind of like what you teach your kids, don't accept a ride from stranger ;)

But the first time you inadvertently hit someone, you'll put it away. Right?

I would be MORTIFIED. And yes.

I can all but guarantee you, you won't be the only one using one. So no need to be embarrassed.

Ha! Well alrighty then! It doesn't take up much space, so might as well take it and have a "When in Rome" policy.

Can't see any reason why not, I carry a tri-pod and/or a mono pod so why not a selfie stick.

It's just us going, no group, and we don't want to bug people to take our photos all the time.

I make fun of my friend for having one, but I can see a use for it.

BUT I don't want to be obnoxious (see above) and probably would be embarrassed to use it. ("They're totally judging us...")

I KNOW. Really, a selfie stick?

But are these allowed on cruises these days, particularly Royal Caribbean? DH and I are going on our first, a 10th anniversary, in June. My BFF has a selfie stick I can borrow, just wondering if it's allowed! :D

I was so excited when you mentioned Ting on your Nassau day! I went to Jamaica in high school (mission trip) and drank Ting the whole 2 weeks we were there. Can't wait to get some on our trip!
