I was on it last week. The most "live music" we experienced was a singer, bass player with the exact music in the background. I personally do not consider that live music but to each their own.

Hello everyone! So we are traveling to Freeport and Nassau in the beginning of November. We will spend a full day at each port. I'm just starting to research the ports and would appreciate everyone's input. Things I would like to know:

Are there beaches within walking distance of the ship (particularly with food/drink nearby)?

What things should we not miss out on?

We are a group of four, with one non-swimmer so we are somewhat limited by that.

Yup. Ballsy we are.

Just did this but with an earlier flight. Our flight left at 10:10. Our port was port Everglades and we flew out of ft lauderdale. Self assist left the ship at 7:30 and we were in the airport just after 8:20 I believe. We would definitely do it again.

Just got off the Conquest. We loaded our account with multiple gift cards. We were not able to use the kiosk to withdraw cash. We were able to load the money onto DH's casino account and then able to withdraw from that account at the cashier's desk.

Just got off the Conquest and I believe the CD was Stephanie. There was someone named Jayce (maybe?) who introduced the comedians but was definitely not the cruise director.

Thanks! I was hoping that I could call them while still in port so that they could book that day. I want for them to be able to get the same rate so that everything is even. So glad that two people who have recently done it could chime in. Thank you for your help! So excited for my first Carnival cruise and to be able to book the next vacation!

I apologize for yet another thread about this but my situation is somewhat different than what has been discussed before. I am boarding a cruise on Saturday. While onboard I would like to book a girls cruise for November, for four of us, for two rooms. In order to take advantage of the OBC can I book both rooms and get $50 for each room, or will I need to book my room and let the other two book their cruise separately in order to utilize the Friends and Family Voucher? I would prefer to book both cruises on Saturday (or some point during my cruise) in order to ensure that we all get the same rate. I am afraid that we will have to wait for the second room though in order to benefit from the Friends and Family voucher. Also, for booking purposes, how much personal information will I need for my friends? I will try to book while we are still in port so I can call my friends but I would much rather be prepared in advance. Thanks!

I believe hair dryers are in the rooms on the Conquest. However, I'm not sure if it will be sufficient for my needs. I have very long hair and am willing to pack my own if the included one is weak. Anyone use one recently?

9 days until I board the Conquest!

Hello all!

We are sailing in a couple of weeks on the Conquest and have anytime dining. I was curious what dining room is used for anytime dining? I know that there are two different dining rooms (Monet and Renoir). I would prefer to not be running around trying to find the right dining room. Thanks!

The pools don't look that crowded. I'm sailing on the Conquest in a few short weeks and keep reading about how crowded the pools are. Were these pictures taken before everyone was awake or something?

How is the temperature of your cabin?

Doing your original itinerary in a month! Do you have any time dining? How many kids seem to be on board?

We are doing the Conquest with the exact itinerary in 5 weeks. Everything I've read about the Conquest is relatively positive. While there is no Serenity area, there is an adults only section. (I believe) This is our first Carnival cruise and we switched from AI because we wanted to see more places!

So I read that Conquest is getting the new menus in October. I'm cruising on the Conquest on an 8 day that runs into October. This is our first Carnival cruise so all of the food will be new to us but just curious if anyone has definitive word as to when the Conquest will roll these out.

Thanks. I remember having to go to some desk on my last cruise (years ago) and stand in line with oodles of other people. I hadn't noticed anyone complaining about that so I knew that wasn't the case with Carnival. And I was totally going to force my way in and force the room stewards to interrupt their work, so glad I know now not to do that. [emoji57]

So that part of the ship would be sealed off until the rooms are ready? That seems easy enough, thanks!
