Have a safe trip.

Breakaway does not have anything similar to the Sugarcane Mojito bar. I tried ordering the famous raspberry guava mojito on the Breakaway and was literally told "No. This isn't the Escape."
-
Where can you get a strawberry Mojito on the Breakaway? On our last trip, we tried to order this at different bars and were told, "No, this isn't the Escape". I guess they were referring to the Sugarcane Mojito Bar on that ship....but is a strawberry Mojito really that exotic to make?

40000 points was the cheapest available for my dates.

I just did this for our cruise this Fall. It cost me 40,000 points +$53 out of pocket in taxes and fees to book one night at the Atlantis Royal Towers. Hoping they don't give me any trouble "checking in" early to get the wrist bands.

Very sorry to hear there is a medical emergency!
Excited that she is docked and ready to take on the Easter crew.
Boarding in a couple of hours.....Thanks for all of the information cruise critic friends.

What "secret" areas have you found peace on a full Breakaway ship? I've read the waterfront is a good area to read or play games with the family. How about lounging spots (away from the pool?)
-
Great thank you. One less thing to pack!!!
-
Will there be a hole punch available at the New York pier or do I have to pack one if I want to attach my ship card to a lanyard?
-
Where were the "less crowded areas" on a sea day?
-
Okay thanks, I obviously missed that one....
-
The Breakaway Haven Forward-Facing Penthouse with Balcony says it sleeps 3-4..... Do some of the suites have the pull down ceiling bed and some don't? I'm confused about this. I don't see any that I can actually book with 4 people. Am I missing something?
-
Has anybody used the lock-box key return at the new Alamo location?
-
I am trying to figure out what to pack for a March cruise out of NY. Do they typically pump up the air conditioning at night? I would like to bring mostly dresses. I will certainly pack some cardigans, but am worried I will still be cold.
Ladies, were your legs freezing in a dress, toes frozen in sandals?....

She's just about to pass under the Verrazzano heading back into port, now!
...watching it live:

Great, thanks!! We are sailing the Breakaway next month and I think the kids will get a kick out of seeing her sail by.
-
With a 3 pm departure, what time will Breakaway go under the Verrazano Bridge? ......May head to the shore tomorrow to watch her sail....
-
Thanks. That is exactly what I was looking for......

Just posting in hopes that the OP will see and report back on the shuttle service/limo they ended up using to Kennedy Space Center.
We have Cocoa Beach Shuttle Booked for 6 people. It is the same price for us to rent a mini-van. Honestly, I am a little uneasy about both options.
1) I am nervous about dropping the mini-van off at Alamo after hours (using the drop box).....and,
2) I am nervous about Cocoa Beach Shuttle not showing up to return us to the pier at the end of the day.....
I wish I just booked the excursion through the cruise ship, but I have the tickets to the Space Center so it really wouldn't be worth it.....

In which terminal does Breakaway usually dock in Port Canaveral?
-
Can you tell me about your recent experience with renting a car for one day at port canaveral and returning the car after hours?
Which car rental agency did you use?
How long did you wait for the shuttle to get to the car rental agency?
What was the process for returning the car after hours?
How did you get back to the port after returning the car?
Overall would you recommend renting a car over a shuttle service?
The Breakaway will be the only ship in port on the day we are looking at renting. Our plan is to use the car to get to Kennedy Space Center and then return the car by 7pm (after the car rental agencies close)
Thanks

I am interested to know the answer, as well.

Do they serve Angry Orchard on the ship?

I'm on Breakaway now and the programming has completely changed. No more Nickelodeon at all (except the pool area that has not been changed yet). The Splash Academy is focused on athletics, and educational activities. They have been making Volcanoes, designing boats to have a mini regatta, making "dinosaur eggs" and trying to keep them from breaking when they drop them. They've had the usual Pirate parade. They've had a heroes vs villains night. And so much more. I'll post pictures of the Splash Academy schedule, we're on for 2 weeks and they are doing something different every day and night.
OP here....Thanks so much for the updated information. If you could post the schedule that would be incredible.

Have you noticed if they have any seasonal Sam Adams available? (bottles or tap).
