  1. I will be on the Miracle in about 4 weeks and me and my DH was just talking about food and we both agreed they could put a PB& J sandwich in front of us and we would be happy with that (joking) LOL!

No work, no cooking,no stressful drive every morning....I will be in bliss for 7 days!!!!!!!!!!:):)

  2. An answer to your luck...I originally had that cabin (4149) sailing on the Miracle Feb. 20th. I changed my cruise date to April 2 last Thursday therefore freeing up that sought after cabin. I wasn't lucky enough to get that cabin for my new booking but we did get 4115 which is also between the lifeboats. Enjoy cabin 4149 and have a great cruise! :)

OMG i got your cabin :) . Too funny! Yes we will enjoy this cabin it was a blessing to get it so thank you we will enjoy it .

Have a great time on your upcoming December trip!

  3. Stateroom 4149 is between two life boats. I am surprised it was available this close to sailing. Yes, I know it is almost three months but if you tried to book that stateroom for an Alaska cruise it would have been gone a year prior to sailing. enjoy your cruise.

I think it was luck LOL! I booked this cruise a year ago and that room was not available and i looked on Monday just for fun and saw it available ...i called right away. :) The other room i gave up was also obstructed but it faced a boat .

  4. Looking at booking a 7 day for next year. Does anyone know of a link or from personal experience of the best view room?

Hello! I will be sailing on Feb 20 on the Miracle and booked room 4123. After doing some research here and also on cruiselineroom.com this appeared to be a good choice. I think for the price and the ability to see sunlight and get some fresh air it is totally worth it. :)

  5. We are cruising in February 2016 and are booked in the Vista Suite on the Miracle.

We have always booked Ocean View rooms, so this suite is brand new to us.

A question we have is, should we purchase the Cheers program for $700  for the 7-day cruise (2 people in the cabin ) or is the mini bar in the room sufficient in its stock? We aren't drinkers at all, but enjoy a taste or two while vacationing.

Does anyone have any photos of what the stocked bar looks like as far as the liquor? Are they the small mini bottles ($9.25 being the most expensive ), or are they actually worth spending the money on ?

Thank you in advance for anyones help.

Me and my husband are also sailing on the Miracle in Feb and i'm debating if cheers will be worth it for us. We are both not big drinkers but i can see us indulging because we can :) I'm putting aside money for cheers and will decide once we get thier. Have a great time on your cruise!

  6. No one can predict what the weather will do, and on ANY cruise you are subject to motion sickness. If you have anyone in your party that potentially suffers from this then it is better to take precautions in advance.

I LIVED on motion sickness medicine on any trip (cruise, air, bus, etc) until about 5 years ago. I would get motion sick just sitting in the back seat of the car.

I didn't like how zoned out the medicine made me though. One day my husband brought me home the wrist bands you wear with the pressure nubs on them - name brand is "Sea Bands."

Don't know why or how they work, but let me tell you they are a lifesaver! I can fly 10 hours on a plane to Europe and feel just fine. Can cruise in the worst seas and doesn't bother me at all (and let me tell you I have been on a couple cruises where half the ship was turning green). They are the best $8 we ever spent.

I wear one at all times when on-board, then if the seas get bad or I start "feeling" the motion, I put on the other one for double the relief and I am perfectly fine. I wear them when we go out on shore excursions that involve a smaller boat - like snorkeling, etc. and again all good.

I highly recommend them, and it is a great non-medication way to avoid the sickness. They are even recommend for women with morning sickness!

PS: Another trick I learned in Hawaii, and again I don't know why it works but it does, fresh Pineapple will help with a minor case of motion sickness and upset stomach. Which you can usually find this on-board the ship.

Can i ask where do you get sea band? Regular grocery store ? I suffer from motion sickness also and just don't want to take pills the whole time i cruise. I thought about going to see my doctor before my trip and look into the patches behind the ear also. The sea band sounds awesome!

  7. No, and as someone who vapes, I think it would be rude to even want to. Vaping is only allowed in areas where smoking is allowed.

Had a question regarding vaping if you could answer. My husband vapes and i want him to bring this on the ship because he is now on the lowest possible nicotine and has not picked up a cigarette in about a year. He carries different flavor juices . Do you have an issue bringing these on the ship?

    thanks :)

  8. This is our first time purchasing FTTF while on the Fantasy. We mainly purchased it because we have an 11 hour drive and thought getting up to our room to recover would be perfect. But I have a couple of other questions about the benefits of having FTTF....What exactly is priority dining? We have YTD....will we be first to get called for dinner? Also...Does FTTF help you get on or off at ports that are not tendered any faster? Or do we wait on the long lines like everyone else?;) Thanks for your help.

It is my first time purchasing FTTF also and one of our reasons is also due to the fact we will be driving into Cali from AZ and want to get to our room to relax. I think that alone will be worth it !

What i read about YTD is that it does not apply to that but only set time dining . I might be wrong but that's my understanding. We also chose YTD because i didn't want to be "set" on a time but might be changing to a set time.

  9. I took my nieces 9 and 11 on an eight day cruise last October. There were indeed kids on board, and they had a great time. I believe they can check themselves out at will at 12 years of age (if I remember correctly). You may want to purchase a set of walkie-talkies. We weren't always able to pick the kids up on them, but they weren't very expensive. There were others doing the same thing, as we would hear them talking to their kids. It allows you to tell them exactly where you are at, and where you can find them. Just a thought. Also, I never felt uneasy at letting them have the run of the ship, during the day. The aunt came out more at night. ;)

I also used the walkie takies when my son was that age on a cruise and it worked great! I had him check in with me and we had no issue's. The deal was answer when i call or hanging out with friends alone is no longer an option ...period .
