My daughter and her family along with myself booked a cruise on the Conquest. It will leave Miami in December 26 and return on December 29. Everything was in place. Then it all fell apart!! My granddaughter, who is a nurse, has to work on the 29th. My travel agent started the cancellation process, Carnival is charging us 1/2 of what the cabins are priced. We booked a balcony and an inside cabin. I cannot believe that this is their policy. I would understand if it were 10-20% but 50% is highway robbery!!  Needless to say we will never consider booking a Carnival cruise again.

Hello everyone, a  good friend of mine and his wife would like to go on a cruise. However, his wife requires dialysis and he was wondering if anyone has ever used Diaysis at Sea. If there is someone who has used this service would you please be kind enough to share your experience.

Wondering for the 10 day which ends on the 30th where would they reroute them??? We experienced Hurricane Sandy tied to the dock for I think 2 nights, Coast Guard wouldn’t permit ship to continue to Caribbean. A lot of rocking!! My in-laws are on the Caribbean Princess now. Hope everyone is safe.

I booked an Alaskan cruise for May 2023, refundable deposit. I am assuming that I have until final payment to cancel. Is this a correct assumption? Thanks for your reply. Have a good day.

This is all new to me! We just booked a cruise to Alaska for May 2023 out of Seattle. After reading the posts I am assuming that the medallion is in place of the seapass is that correct and also used  to get into the cabin? I am not computer savvy so I would guess my best bet is to wait until we get to the port to activate it. Any suggestions?? Thanks for any advice. Have a great day.

Hi, you mention the Elite breakfast. Is there a special dining room where it is served? How would the staff know that we are Elite members?? I know on Royal for Diamond there was a dining area and the buffet. Thank you for your reply. Have a nice day.

I just booked an Alaska cruise  and was wondering since I am a diamond member on RCCL would I get the same perks on Celebrity??  It sure would be nice if they would. Thanks for your response and have a good day.

I have been away from cruise critic for a few years. A lot has happened since 2018, my husband died, sold my home and now enjoy apartment living. I went on one cruise in 2020 and just booked an Alaska cruise out of Seattle. The question I have is my flight is a red eye on the day I leave Seattle to return home. The ship has tours but they all arrive at the airport mid afternoon. My flight leaves after midnight!  Does anyone know of any tour agencies that would provide the tour and return to the airport? The reason I booked this flight is it is nonstop.  Thanks for your help. Have a good day.

I booked a March 2022 cruise on the Enchantment a few weeks ago. My payment on my credit card is due 7/28, my final payment is due in November. I did this cruise before and have been to all the islands at least once. I actually booked this cruise on a whim!! (Long story) Now that I am vaccinated and so is the person who would be going with me I felt safe!! However, the new variant is coming to several places and I am getting concerned. Should I wait to see how the world is by November when final payment is due or should I call my agent and cancel this cruise? I did buy the insurance.

Will there be a coupon book in the cabin??? I am diamond also, I just need a simple internet package to keep in touch with family back home. Does anyone know the cost??

We will be sailing in January and I have been getting emails about purchasing different “specials “ offered before we board the ship. I was wondering how many of you take advantage of the pre-sales for tours etc. I know the purchase goes directly to the credit card so your paying before you really go. Is it worth it??

I am a Diamond member with Royal Caribbean. I must admit it has been a while since I last cruised on Royal. Do they still offer Diamond members any perks when purchasing internet?? I do not have a “smart phone” so this would be just internet to email family members while I am away.
