We had exactly the same thing on our documents after being upgraded but like Brighton Line said once we checked in we had a Yacht Club keycard so there was no issue at all.  Yacht Club was amazing, enjoy.

I booked a cruise a couple of days ago going from Barcelona to Southampton 16th April to 22nd April 2024 - I check for deals all the time and this cruise just came up and I hadnt seen it previously, there didnt seem to be many cabins available but loads of Yacht Club.  After booking I checked on the cruise again but has completely disappeared, it cant be fully booked as there were loads of Yacht Club cabins available, does anyone know why this is?

We had a brilliant time on Virtuosa, I must admit at busy times in the buffet they did run out of plates and food was not replenished very quickly, it was quite hectic, it was also hard to get a sunbed, I have found this on other cruise lines though.  It did not spoil our holiday at all, the ship if fun and the staff were brilliant.

Do they do any time dining at all in the main dining rooms?

Virtuosa - Docked Abu Dhabi 23rd November - 27th November.

Has anybody done this cruise or should I say port stay, the ship is docked for the full four days and the cruise ship more like a hotel.  

Will we be able to come and ago at any time of day or night?

Are all bars and restaurants open/used?

My booking states Half Board not Full Board, how does this work?

Our boarding time is between 2 and 3 but we want to go to the Grand Prix track for the day, would we be able to drop off our bags early at the ship then check in later on in the day?

We are a couple from the U.K travelling to the Mexican Riveria on Celebrity Solstice soon (November 19).  I notice that room service is free but do you tip, the U.K is so different when it comes to tipping.  If so what would you say would be the recommended amount?

Hi all,  we are going on a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords (Sky Princess) 23rd April and thinking of booking a sea day in the sanctuary.    Will this be worth it for the views, hot tubs, peace and quiet etc as we know it will be very cold or are we wasting our money?

Does anyone know when you are advised of your cabin number, we have an ocean view, deck 7,9 or 10 on 16th July, 2019 leaving Palma.

How long is it before you can get  into your cabin?

We are making our own way to the ship as staying in Majorca before hand.  With it being a late departure 10pm are you able to get onto the ship then get off for a little while on embarkation day?

I agree with the OP, never have what I want, I went to the theatre at 2am and there was no show, I wanted to get off the ship but was not allowed as we were not in port, its just not on.  Seriously though the OP is just laughing at us I'm sure as we get angry at his comments.  So glad I'm a happy go lucky kind of person, enjoy cruising everyone

When we were on Harmony last August they DID enforce the rule.  In the Solarium they came around and put notes on beds that were unoccupied advising their items would be removed within half an hour (or could of been an hour)  they then returned and if still nobody on them they removed all their items.

I got a lovely bed with a lovely view out to sea!!

On our Harmony Cruise in August I couldn't believe how casual it was compared to our cruise out of Southampton a few years earlier. I only saw a handful of tux's even on formal night. There were plenty of people with shorts in the dining room.

Thank you, we do like the sound of the food in there. We have a daughter 21 and son 15 and obviously didn't want to go in and leave out our son so nice to know we can go in as a family.

Don't really mind about the solarium was just the bistro.

Am I right in saying that children are not allowed in the solarium?

What about the solarium bistro, are they allowed in there?

We are flying into Miami and then getting the Tri Rail to Ford Lauderdale, hotel is right there at the station, Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port. Then using the free shuttle to the port the next morning.

We found cruising from Southampton is much for formal.

We had this sound on another ship, the large bang used to wake me up. I did contact guest services who sent someone to our cabin to listen to the noise and said they would get one their engineers to look into it. I never found out what it was but after that it did disappear. It sounded like a generator that would build up and then explode and start all over again.

Sometimes I think it depends on where your cruise is sailing from. When I sailed out of Southampton I didn't see any shorts and 80% tux on formal night compared to sailing out of Miami on a 3 night cruise there were no tux and plenty of people in shorts.

I actually don't mind want anyone wears. Its upto them its their holiday. Why should what they wear affect me? My husband wore a tux from Southampton and polo shirts and dark black jeans when sailing out of Miami. We were on a 3 week holiday and did not want to take lots of luggage on our flight.

I would not expect someone to dine at the Winjammer just because they don't want to wear formal wear.
