Just got off the Equinox on Monday. It was our first stay in Aqua. Yes there was bottle of sparking waiting for us, there were two small bottles of water as well. We also had fruit in the room. The oranges were the best and I put a note on our fruit tray asking if we could just have oranges instead of the apple and pear. Sure enough next day we had 3 oranges. The afternoon savories will only come if you fill out the form for them each day. One day I asked if I could have cheese and crackers. My request was granted. I will admit whenever I asked for something out of the ordinary I included a 5 dollar bill with my request. Blu was amazing. Everyone was so attentive. Our guy was Mazur...Loved him!

In my aqua room last week there was a lighted mirror in the drawer. I always have a 10x small mirror in my "to go" bag along with tweezers.

Make-up mirror and hair dryer in vanity/desk.

It's some sort of labor strike. We had to cancel a private boat ride that was leaving from the French side.

Thank you for your review. I'm looking forward to being on the Equinox for the first time in March....

Thank you for taking the time to right your comparison. It's nice to know there are other options available.

There are many cruise lines to choose from. Celebrity has a stated dress code. I don't understand the bizarre attitudes I'm seeing about this issue. You can dress as Celebrity requests, you can eat in your room, you can eat at the buffet. Those are YOUR choices to make. Seems easy enough to me. If you don't like it you also have the CHOICE to sail on a different line. Why do people feel entitled to change or alter the rules of the cruise line when they know (or should know) those rule before boarding?

I'd like to know how long it takes to get to the American Yacht Club harbor and the cost to get there....

I have some 4 x 6 post it paper that is for photos. I printed a bunch of our favorites (mostly deep sea fishing) and put them on our cabin door. They were a big hit with the crew and made our door a bit more fun!

I don't know if this has been discussed before. In January in the southern Caribbean is a white dinner jacket with Tux pants okay. If I was Rick Blaine it would be OK but I am not. In the US white after Labor Day is a no no. But we will not be in the US. Discuss please.
I think you'll look smashing! Enjoy.

Excellent information. Sounds like everything I will want is part of the classic package. Love not having a bill at the end of the cruise!

I read all the bumf on Celebrity Dress Code, as a first timer, DH had 13 under his belt, I love love Formal wear, It is all new to me, Wear what you want but don't sit next to me at a bar stating I'm overdressed as a smack in the teeth might offend

Did you pay $10,000.00 for a suite bc of the new suite dining room that promised, in advterising and then on this board, 3 meals a day? Well, I did. I am not happy to hear anything different about it. And I will remain as excited as I want until I get answer as to why Celebrity went back on their word again. This is now the 2nd time regarding the same issue.
I'm sorry this has you so upset. I think you may be hitting your head against a wall trying to get a straight answer.

Have a "suite" cruise!

I like dressing up three nights out of 14, as long as one of those days is not the same day that I take an all day shore tour. Sometimes Celebrity will schedule a formal night on a port day.
That is when we go to the buffet for Dinner.
I must say that I don't like the decline in standards. Grunge is cool now. Some Jeans are sold with holes or are torn up. Some think a T-shirt with a stupid comment on it is cool.
Couldn't agree more! I wish they'd enforce the dress code.

This is me scratching my head....Huh?

I have seen no indication that the OP was hurt in any way. They were NOT "hit" with a much higher price. He had this brief fantasy about having made a great deal, but then was faced with reality. He had no contract with Celebrity. The OP saw some money laying on the sidewalk and grabbed it but before they could get it into their pocket the owner came along and reclaimed the money. Celebrity made a mistake, the OP saw an opportunity to take advantage (rather than querying Celebrity about the obvious mistake). Celebrity said "no, if you want that booking, the price is x." If he had gone ahead and made a deposit/payment against the quoted price, then we are into a different conversation. But he didn't want to deal with Celebrity, he wanted to hand it off to a TA. So let his TA figure it out - maybe they can give him the "discounted" rate.
Well said, and I agree.

I share your love of getting dressed up, but based on the cruise on Eclipse (April 21 TA) the guys with Golf shirts and slacks were dressed up compared with those in Adias and Nike sweat suits nevermind those in Tee shirts and sandals on formal night.
It makes me sad to hear that. They shouldn't be allowed in the dining room!

I love getting dressed up for cruises and that's why I choose Celebrity. I wish they would enforce the rules on formal nights. It bothers me to see men in golf shirts and ordinary pants on formal nights.
