  1. Is it possible to book a tour on arrival at Felison Cruise Terminal, Ijmuiden?

Norwegian Prima changed its call from Amsterdam to Ijmuiden. I had thought I would arrange an independent excursion to Volendam or Zaanse Schrans, but I can’t find any that start in Ijmuiden. In many ports tour operators offer excursions at the cruise terminal or just outside. Is that the case in Ijmuiden?  Or are cruise line excursions and public transit the only options?

Yes, would likely be cheaper onboard.  I know it is for elites, not sure if it's the same price for platinum or not, but probably is.

YES - the discount applies to all plans.

The discount is the same for Platinum & Elite - as are the free minutes that was the original benefit (at least the one prior to MedallionNet).

    Thank you!

  3. I will be traveling with two friends on the Crown soon. I pre-purchased the four-device plan with intent to share. So far, so good but I am rethinking the purchase because one of the friends is Platinum. It looks like the better route for the group would be for her to use her minutes to for a discount on the four-device plan on embarkation. Right? Until I read this thread and saw the screen shots, it wasn’t clear to me that the discount applies to the four device plan as well as the single device plan.

  4. Four ships will be in port when we're in Juneau, arriving at 11, 1, 1, and 1:30. Our ship is one of the 1:00. Should we expect a long line for one of the shuttles to Mendenhall Glacier? How likely is it that we will have to wait a half hour or more for a later departure?

Do the return buses sometimes fill up and thus leave passengers behind to catch the next shuttle?

  5. The island is beautiful but we felt a bit rushed to get to all the places. The website said we would have fish cakes and a drink at one stop and did not. The power was out at the lunch location (not Glory's fault) so we went to a side of the road place. We were the only ones on the tour "Beautiful Barbados" and is was just a feeling that the driver wanted to get it over with because he would not be getting a lot of tips. We had done great tours on all the other islands with guides that were proud of their country and shared all kinds of information. This one did not, lots of silent driving. I too had read her "smart" comments and I wanted to give them a chance but for the money I would go with someone else at a better rate.

Glory Tours "smart comments"-- That is why I haven't booked yet. TripAdvisor reviews seem generally favorable, but any critical remark is met with argument. She should realize that criticism is not the same as complaint, and that critical remarks can help her. They help customers know what to expect. A customer who knows what expect is less likely to complain, e.g. about food might be only so-so at lunch. Also a pattern in critical remarks can help her fine tune the tours.

The Little England tour seems to cover exactly what I'm interested in. (Hunte's Garden, Bathsheba, Cherry Tree Hill) But I'm just not sure. Maybe a taxi tour would be worth a little extra cost. Or splurge with a private guide for the day.
