Comments: Great for the family. Enough space not to feel crowded for our family of 6.

I heard the anchor dropping at Grand Cayman. I think I was the only one to hear it.

i highly recommend it for families  or small groups.

I am getting ready to get our family " Ocean Ready" and I was wondering if I need to have each person in our party download the app to their phones in order to get medallions?  We have two different cabins for our family, and my daughter is also bringing a friend on the cruise.  Should I have her friend download the app and get Ocean Ready, or do I set up everyone's information from my phone app?

I "registered" my entire family on my Ocean Ready. We got our Medallions yesterday.

  3. My family of 5 stayed in a family suited on the Crown Princess in March. We absolutely loved it. Breakfast in Sabatini's was great, as was the CC Dining. We did not have any issues on the balcony on the sea days. Excess motion was non-existent. Our Family Suite was capable of accommodating up to 8 passengers.

The only negative was the fold out couch. Both were quite worn. No one in our group were able to sit on the couch. We kept sliding off the front of the couch. Of course, my kids eventually made a game of it.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Family Suite for families or large groups.

We have the Family Suite booked on the Caribbean Princess next year.

  4. We have seen Steve Caouette several times and he is great.

We wish Princess would have a venue for comedians like Carnival does.Carnival has a comedy act around 11:00pm almost every night.

Princess tends to have one headline show with a comedian and one lounge show.

Comments -- Very nice for a Family or large group. Essentially, two Mini-Suites combined. Sleeps up to 8. Room is spacious. Room steward was very attentive. Two bathrooms. Both couches in the family room are worn, slightly ragged. Very difficult to sit without sliding off. 3 TVs allowed for viewing for different tastes. Good value!

Would book again in a heartbeat! :):):):)

  6. Most of the muster stations (Princess Theater, Club Fusion, Casino, etc.) have ample seating available.

Some have limited seating. There will almost always be someone courteous enough to let your husband sit down.

In my experience sitting during the muster drill has never been an issue. If necessary, speak with a nearby crew member and they will assist in finding a place to sit.

  7. DW and I sailed the Regal in October. We had a Mini-Suite on Riviera Deck, port side. No complaints. The issue of the walkway was a non-issue.

Our ONLY complaint about the Regal and Royal are the relatively small balconies.

Other than the balconies, both the Regal and Royal are great ships providing a great cruise experience.

  8. Ship – Regal

    Class – Grand

    Deck – Riviera

    Cabin # R328

    Category – MB

    Port/Starboard/Bow/Stern – Port

    Connects With Cabin # N/A

    Accessible – No

    Quiet – Very Quiet

Balcony Size – Standard - Small

    View – Unobstructed

    Privacy Issues – None

Comments – Excellent ship. Buffet is one of the very best. Ship's staff very efficient. Those staff encountered more than once addressed DW and myself by Last Name. Would sail the Regal again in a heartbeat.

  9. DW and I were on the Regal this month and dined at the CG. We did not experience this limitation.

The waiter gave me a couple extra lobster tails. Didn't have to ask.

Can't honestly say if I noticed a change of policy on the entree. The policy may have changed on the Regal, maybe not. Maybe it was because I was nice to the the personnel in the CG.

In the MDR the same thing. A couple tails found their way to my plate by the time I finished the first tail.
