We had a cabin at the very stern of the ship. We still walked around and the bow is nice but this takes a full day and sitting on our our veranda for parts very close and relaxing.

I will be there a couple of cabins from you. It should be a nice transit.

Related as both lines are owned at least partially if not whole by Carnival.
I did watch the show and saw some video I had not seen before. We cruise this Saturday on the Rotterdam so not at all worried.

From the plan 7076 looks like a ladder is on the side and no. We will be in cabin 7063 and fly out of PDX as long as another ice storm does not hit.

We will have 7063 and for the Panama Canal thought it would be great. Love the stern cabin when we were in Venice and Montenegro

I have one on the Rotterdam for a sailing Jan 28th and can say something after we get back. I have had one before on RC and we enjoyed it.

It is a great view but we were on a RC in the Mediterranean. We booked the same cabin on HAL for a Panama Canal cruise next month.
Ours had no noise with a slightly bigger veranda that most cabins but we like the view and smaller ship feel looking out to the side.

We ate mainly in the buffet and did not notice any big difference. If there was any it would only be at dinner.
This was on a 15 day RC from Barcelona to Venice and back.

I did not know either until I looked closely at the fixed water hoses mounted to railings. Water cannons NOT!
