  1. I booked the character breakfast for me and DH, looks like we'll have the VIP.  If it was Disney Jr, we'd skip it.

Curious, will we be the only adults with no kids there?  Do adults cruising without kids do the breakfast?  We'll still do it, but just wondering... :)

  2. Hi, we start booking our activities for the second leg of our B2B tomorrow. I understand we’ll be required to leave the ship, but we’ll we have to reboard with a PAT time? Or do all B2B get back at the same time?

I’m hoping this could be a good opportunity to book Palo brunch on board, assuming we can’t get it at our online check in...

Since this isn't your first cruise, I assume you know about online booking and it was full by the time you tried? If not, you know that as a silver member, you can book at the 90 day window.

Yep, we logged on at midnight eastern time at the 90 day point. Brunch was all booked!

  4. Hi all, this will be my 3rd and 4th Disney cruise, so I'm surprised I don't know this stuff yet...

We're going to attempt to book Palo brunch as soon as we get on the ship.  I know the location of first day bookings can change, last time it was in Tritons, but I've heard others say it's sometimes at the Promenade Lounge.  When/where do I learn the location?

Also, what is the earliest PAT?

    Thank you!

  5. We contacted several months ahead and were told no availability but we asked to be put on their wait list for the date of our cruise. Debbie responded quickly and we were waitlisted. I just checked back and we are now #1 on the waitlist. She said we should get one. So, ask her to waitlist you and do check back! Worked for us!

Thanks! I just emailed asking to be added! :)

  6. What is the website to rent from a good vendor?

Bonaire Cruisers is the only golf cart rental option on the island. You can google them to find their site.

  7. We looked at the menu and it was almost the same as 2 years ago. It did not offer many choices so we decided on Cabanas. Since we did not eat at AP that night but our friends did, we can only go by their comment that the food was barely warm and not very good. That was our experience two years ago as well.

That’s too bad, such a fun restaurant to dine in!

  8. I contacted them yesterday for a January 2019 rental. They said they were booked. Has anyone gotten a reservation later, after being told they’re booked? Wonder if it’s worth checking back, or just going there the day of to see if we can get a cart.

  9. We did the De Palm Island Beach and Snorkeling on the 11-night Fantasy Southern Caribbean last year, and loved it! We didn't do the cabana add-on, though. There were definitely covered areas with loungers, as well as some in the sun, and there was a beach that was more for families and one that was mostly adults. None of these required any reservation or additional payment. The drinks were plentiful, and the food was fine - nothing special but adequate. Best part was the snorkeling - tons of beautiful fish right off the dock. Would definitely do this one again.

Thank you! Very much looking forward to this trip!

  10. Like always, I’ve changed cabins multiple times since booking (anyone else do that? [emoji16]).

I was on DCL site and found open cabins for our 2019 B2B (Wonder 6652 & 6650, one for each leg). I wanted cabins next to each other since I didn’t see 6652 open for both legs. I called my TA (one of those membership store places). Although I saw 6652 as available my TA did not (I didn’t “click” the room on the site, paranoid it would make it unavailable to my TA). And neither of us saw it open for the second cruise. He called DCL and to my delight 6652 was open for both cruises. I guess it never hurts to double check!

  11. Does Disney still leave gifts in the staterooms for Castaway members? We sailed our second cruise in March, 2017 and realized after the trip we didn’t receive anything.

If the gifts are still happening, could we expect two on a B2B?

  12. We sailed on the Wonder in January 2016 and again in March 2017. We found a favorite CM was still on board on our March cruise. He mentioned he was getting off for several weeks soon after our March cruise and coming back for the Alaska itineraries.

What are the chances he’d still be there in January 2019?
