I just wanted to com back and update this thread, since we found a ride! It took a lot of calling around and emailing, but we did find a shuttle company that provides car seats (as many as needed) and airport-port round trip service for a reasonable rate (a third of the price of the private car service I almost booked!) -- South Florida Shuttles.

The reviews are as mixed as any other shuttle service we looked into, but this was the only one that provided multiple infant/toddler car seats (not just boosters). Anyway, just wanted to share that for anyone in my same situation who stumbles upon this thread!

Have you gone on your cruise? How was this shuttle service? We will have 6 Adults and a 16 month old and are looking at transportation from MCO to Port.

  2. Thank you everyone for your response. I will look into the family cruise page. We have booked through individual persons for each port (save RCI Cocoa Bay). We are going to the Maya Chan beach on Christmas day and doing a wildlife tour in Rotoan. Nothing for Cozumel yet.

  3. Good morning, we are cruising on a Christmas Cruise this December and our port of calls are CocoCay, Costa Maya, Roatan, and Cozumel. My daughter will be 16 months on this trip. We have found several "excursions" for her to attend on (such as a beach area, or a wildlife tour) but my question is car seats... she will be out of her carrier by then, do I need to lug around a convertible car seat? I mean those suckers are heavy and a pain to install and uninstall over and over. Wondering if there is something I am missing for her. Or if anyone can shed any light on this.

    Thank you

  5. Do you have a link or any information on how to book this adventure? My family will be in Cozumel on December 27th and we are looking for a lot of activities to do.

  6. We are traveling on a Xmas cruise this December and will arrive in Roatan on the 26th. We have a very diverse group between ages and activity levels. The more active members of our group are interested the snorkeling adventures and we have come across Roatan Ship Wreck Snorkeling Tour through Island Marketing Ltd. Can anyone provide any feedback on their experience through them and if they suggest someone else?

The second group of people (16-month-old and 65+) are interested in the WILD ON Roatan Wildlife Tour through Island Marketing Ltd. Again, anyone provide feedback? My daughter and her grandmother along with her great aunt and uncle who all have knee issues would be attending this tour. Is there something similar you might suggest?

Finally, my BIL and brother are interested in cigars and alcohol and am curious to see if anyone can suggest anything more off the beaten path for them? I am researching, but a girl can only do so much. Thank you so much for your help everyone!

  7. Hi there, I know there is a ton of people asking what is the best to do, but since it will be Xmas day when my family and I arrive (16month old, 2-mid 20y/os, 2-30y/os, 2-mid 40 y/os, and 3-65+ y/os). We hear that this is the place to take a tour and NOT to snorkel. But any and all validated suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Since this will be the last Xmas for a while we will be together, we want to make it something to remember. We love the idea of cultural experiences and tours. I believe we are planning on snorkeling somewhere else on our tour (Cozumel or Roatan).

    Thank you-

  8. Hello All

My fiance and I will be on the Serenade of the Seas in Dec for our honeymoon and have been looking around at special things to do at each port. We decided, along with beach time, horseback riding in Aruba is something we'd like to do. I have ridden 2x before, he has never ridden before.

I have come across both of these as excellent places to ride, but I was hoping those who has experienced them (or at least one of them) can give me their honest opinion.

I have read trip advisor and others posts, but I am looking for something more like a direct comparison.

    Thank you! :D
