Pennie, I think I mentioned to you I browse but don’t post on the boards.  On the occasion of your upcoming departure, I have to post to wish you a wonderful cruise!  Hope you you have great company at the Seaview Bar and you don’t get as many nursing tasks on this cruise. 😉

Noordam Pacific Coast October

The space is a galley for the Neptune Lounge. We have stayed in 7059 on our last two cruises and have reserved for September 2019. 7059 is across the hall and we never noticed much noise. Maybe being next to it you might, so would choose the middle cabin of the three inside.

We were on the Eurodam June 23-July 5. The movies shown in the theater were available the next day on the TV. I mentioned to the concierge in the Neotune Lounge that I was going to be watching a movie in the room and joked too bad I didn't have popcorn. Right away he said I will run down to the theater and get you popcorn -- would you like one bag or two? That was going above and beyond his job and much appreciated!

June 23-July 5, Venice to Barcelona the movies were: Brideshead Revisited, High Strung, Zootopia, For Your Eyes Only, Hail Caesar, And While You Were Here, To Rome with Love, Somm, Grace of Monaco, Cantinflas.

Times were 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, 10pm.

We were on the Zaandam last month. There was not an embarkation lunch only an invitation from "Mariner Society -- Please join us in the Crow's Nest, Today, 3;00-4:00 pm." Invitations were checked to get in.

The Mariner Society Brunch was held on our last full day at 11:00 a.m. Being a "newbie" I was so looking forward to receiving my tile. We were seated next to a couple who did nothing but complain about the cruise and the expense. And then I found out this was their first cruise, obviously they just walked in to eat lunch because invitations were not checked. I enjoyed the brunch, got my tile, and received my two star pin in our room.

Thank you all for the wishes! I also have to thank you all for all the information and tips I have received from this board -- it has made planning this trip so much easier. Every time I find out something new, I tell my husband and he asks "how did you learn about that?" my answer is Cruise Critic. You all are a wealth of knowledge about HAL ships and destinations -- thank you!:)

We received notification that the Eurodam August 10, 2016, 12 day Mediterranean has been cancelled. It has been rescheduled to 16 days and we were offered this at the same rate as the original plus OBC. Sadly, we can't take that much time off. We have rescheduled to Eurodam June 23, 2016, 12 Day Mediterranean Romance, Venice to Barcelona.

HAL is still giving us the OBC for the change in reservations so I am pleased!
