  1. YES,for sure.Make sure there's a least 6 months left on your passport after your cruise ends.Trust me we learn,t the hard way!!

It was a stressful situation for us to say the least!

Wow that sounds very stressful Sorry to hear about that ! Yes I have several years on my passport but thanks for the reminder !

  2. Ditto the above.

As far as airfare definitely check with Celebrity's Choice Air. They can get some pretty competitive rates. What makes the TA airfare expensive is that you are flying to one airport and returning to another, but there are good fares out there. We flew from JFK and found the cheapest was Aer Lingus through Dublin - no kidding.

Thanks for mentoning about the Air travel. This was an additional question I had that you reminded me of. I did some preliminary checking, and JFK is cheaper for me, I am in Louisiana, how do I book travel like this? say from Louisiana then JFK, and will I have to recheck luggage in JFK ? Thanks in advance !

  3. Hi all,

I am looking at planning my first TA. I am tentatively planning for 2019, or 2020. The itinerary I was looking at specifically was the 15 Night Mediterranean on Celebrity Silhouette out of Rome to Ft. Lauderdale. I have concerns for as far as airfare goes. I have seen posts where a lot of people recommended using Rome cabs for transportation from the airport in Rome. Also how cold is it in Nov? Any tips/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated ! thanks !
