  1. Hi,

We are travelling from Australia ( 2 adults and 1 year old) and will be tripping through Europe before finishing with a cruise on the Allure of the Seas. I am aware our little guy will not be able to swim in the big pools and was hoping to bring on board a little inflatable tub/blow up paddling pool. We are boarding in Rome. Are these easily purchased in Rome? I am conscious about what we are carrying all the way from Aus and for our trip, was hoping to just purchase in Rome? Is this possible do you think?

    Thanks

  2. Hi,

We are cruising on the Allure in August. Can someone please explain the formal/casual nights to me? I'm not sure I understand. Is it only is you choose a restaurant that is having a formal night you wear formal or is it across the whole ship? We were thinking we would mainly eat in the MDR or the buffet as we have a 1 year old, does it apply to this?

I am okay if it does just want to ensure I pack accordingly.

    Thanks

  4. Hi,

We are sailing on the Allure of the Seas and I have just gone to book a ferry to go over to Capri for the day when we dock at Naples but I am not sure if this is correct do we board from Molo Beverello?

Also is it best to book before hand on just purchase on the day.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

  5. Hi,

We are traveling from Australia with our 14 month old. We are cruising on the Allure. Our babe has just started on cows milk, how readily available is this on board? How to I make sure he has enough for morning and night bottles? He doesn't drink a lot and if at home would probably not still be having these bottles but I am not changing his routine before we go on trip.

Also I am looking at options for drinks? Do people recommend a drinks package? This is our first 'big' trip with bubs and obviously it will be very different to how we usual holiday (long meals and lots of wines!). So is it worth purchasing drink packages when cruising with toddler?

    Thanks

  6. It's possible that there will be more to do on the ship such as the splash pool and playrooms than there is in port. We travelled on Indepence of the Seas with our grand daughter and all she really wanted to do was play in the water or with the toys in the enormous playroom which was opened up for them ( not the children's club - that was separate) She was 22 months at that time.

I can't think of anything which is specifically toddler based near the ship in Marseilles - the old port is interesting where you can see the fishing boats, fish, cafes etc and it's also possible to go over to the Chateau d'If by boat but whether this would suit a toddler I'm not sure. There are beaches but they would involve a taxi or bus ride.

Thank you I was thinking for this and other port we might just stay aboard and enjoy the ships facilities for children as there seems to be so much to do on the boat I don't know if you would see it all if you did day trips everyday. Or venture out to perhaps see the port have a little walk around and then get back on.

    Thanks again.

  7. Hi,

I am looking for any suggestions for activities for Mallorca port when we arrive in August on the Allure of the Seas ship? We are travelling with our 14 month old and feel the cruise arranged shore excursions aren't appropriate for us as a family? Hoping to not have to travel too far from the port.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks:)
