Which ship?
I have used the Premium Plus at both SB locations on the Joy and the one on the Encore.
Thanks for the info, we will be on the Encore in March. I thought it would be the same across the fleet. I hope my package works at the SB on Encore, love those specialty coffee drinks:)

Are Starbucks coffee drinks included in the Premium Plus beverage package?

I called Celebrity and the promo was accurate. They claim that they are trying to get reservations finished up before the new year. Guess they need $$. Supposedly I can still take advantage of promotions until the final due date. We'll see.
-
I just received a telephone call (voicemail) from Celebrity that if I pay the balance within 48 hours for my March 3, 2019 Edge cruise they would give me a $100 OBC per stateroom. Any guesses as to why they are doing that? I am always skeptical

In addition to the auto tip, I will leave $20 Cash.

Maybe we need to add an etiquette drill along with the lifeboat drill. You should have seen the news this morning where they had to kick a whole family off a Carnival ship for disorderly conduct. Really a sad, sad world.

I am guessing the OP didn't get the response they were looking for since they haven't been back to respond to questions.
Accusations that could possibly not be true can really hurt a company. I understand the OP's frustration but maybe they should have taken a step back before posting. JMO
I agree 100%, people are so quick to blame someone else for their misfortune. While I understand they are upset for losing out on their vacation, people need to be responsible for themselves. If your vacation, leg, arm, car, house etc. is valuable insure it. I have purchased the insurance for my last 14 cruises and will continue to do so,even though I have not yet needed to use it (thank goodness).

Depends on the ship.
1. Yes
2. No....shouldn't have to. If anything, the cruises that allow smoking should cost more. :p
I agree 100%

Thanks for the great review. One silly, simple question, Do they have any pizza restaurants on board where you can just stop by and pick-up a slice? I have read about all the different restaurants, but I don't seem to see a pizza place.

Ship doesn't seem any more crowded than any other Oasis Class ship
There are Hot Tubs in the Solarium however no pool in Solarium. The Adult pool is the Sports Pool
Below is the Sports Pool and there are signs saying its an adult pool
As far as open seats I have not tried to get one during Sea Days but there looked to be plenty of loungers on Deck 15 and 16.
My favorite comment regarding the hot tubs is "People Soup":D:D:D

I typically tip my room steward an additional $20 cash above the auto tip that they can keep just for themselves. Specialty dining sometimes extra $10 if we really enjoyed the service. Bartenders at a favorite bar extra $10-20 at beginning and end of week to help guarantee good service and reward good service. Nothing over the top, but every little bit helps these hard working staff out.

Thanks Hoopster95 for your detailed, interesting review and the great photos. Would you be able to tell us which nights are formal nights and whether the main dining room has any not to miss menu items those nights.
-
When I go on my cruise planner and select the details tab for my three night dining package, there is a line at the bottom that says 'Additional Terms and Conditions Apply'. That states that it does not include holidays or premium dining experiences including Chef's table, wine pairing dinners, Izumi Hibachi experience or Mystery Dinner Theatre. So I guess we are out of luck with the dining packages:(

Thanks so much BadgerFBfan for your detailed, positive review. We have a group from Wisconsin also (Kohler/Sheboygan Falls) that will be going on the Feb 25 sailing on HOTS. We are all excited to go and so thankful to hear someone tell us some good things about their experience. Also for reminding guests to smile, be polite and remember to give a little extra cash to those staff members who really deserve it. Hey and what about those Green Bay Packers!!!:D:D:D

Would anyone who has recently sailed and purchased a dining package be able to answer a few questions regarding the three night dining package we purchased online. Will we be able to pick the restaurants we want to eat at or do they give you whatever is not booked up? We chose 6:30 as our time and would like to book at 150 Central Park, Wonderland and Chops. Have most cruisers been able to get the restaurants they requested? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated:)

I cannot believe people leave so much stuff behind.
I always do a very thorough room check before we walk out.
Especially the safe, closet, and under the bed.
I would not expect to get anything back if left behind...
I sweep the room completely area by area, drawer by drawer and then I have my husband do the same. Double check the safe and lift up the little cloth mat inside. The only thing we ever left behind (so far) was a cell phone charging cord.
Recently at a local fair I dropped a $50 bill out of my purse that was to pay for my grandkids ride passes for the day. I started to walk away and another lady resting on a bench called out to me and told me that I had dropped some money. I thanked her repeatedly and she did not want anything for helping me out. There are some really good people out there:)

Awesome list, thanks so much for sharing

Thanks for the heads up on the spray sunscreen and the seapass cards. I have also had to have my seapass card replaced daily due to it getting too close to my camera. They should hand out a list of the items to watch out for. I asked at guest services why my card kept failing and nobody had a clue:confused:
-
So sorry for your loss and hope the items are returned to you...
I have heard several OP's post about leaving items in the safe and now used info here to protect our belongings going forward.
We will bring a sliding ZipLock bag and put everything of value in this bag including our passports.
Two reasons.... items can't hide in cracks and dark. In the event of an emergency, we can just crab the bag and go.
When I travel I use a lot of zip lock bags especially in my carry on bag. It helps keep things organized and quick to find something. I like your idea of putting one in the safe. I will add that to my list:D

Many thanks to you for doing this in depth reporting on Harmony of the Seas. Your posts are awesome. Thank you for taking your valuable vacation time to share with all of us future Harmony cruisers:)

We were going to book the four night dinner package, but ended up booking for only three nights. We have three couples and spent about 30 minutes on the phone with RCI trying to coordinate and ask questions, and pay with a credit card. We were told that when we get on the ship we need to go to a specialty restaurant and complete our reservations for the week. I asked what if the time/restaurants we want were already full and she said that was why the packages are at a discounted rate!!! Not so great of a deal if you really want a certain restaurant on a certain day and time. Looking for feed back from anyone who has previously done this type of package and if they had good luck with it or not.

I am not sure about those review numbers, I for one occasionally jump from Princess to Royal Caribbean just to experience the amazing new innovation. We sailed on Oasis of the Seas a few years ago and it was spectacular! It was not crowded and there were so many things to experience; dining, shows and activities. We are now going to sail on Harmony in Feb 2017 and can't wait to try more awesome dining options and Bionic bar etc. Bring it On!!!
-
It has been a little while, but my absolute favorite restaurant was 150 Central Park. The experience there was amazing. It took about 2-1/2 hours for dinner, but was worth every moment and the food tasted great. We also very much liked Chops, but we are (good) steak lovers. Enjoy!
-
Thanks for your fun review! We leave on the Royal on Feb 27 and I can't wait to try that margarita that you were enjoying. We sailed on the Oasis of the Seas a couple of years ago and it was awesome. So many things to do and enjoy- that cruise was all about the ship not the port stops. Even with all the people on that ship, it never seemed crowded, amazing.

We stayed at the Hilton, FLL Marina a few times. We absolutely love the location and hotel. We go for a view of the bay, high up if possible to see all the cruise ships there. One time our cruise ship was docked right across the street, so we took our luggage and walked to the ship. They have a beautiful swimming pool and bar in the back. Also one of our favorite things is that there is a stop for the Water Taxi right outside the hotel. This is extremely convenient if you enjoy riding up/down the channel. You can even take it all the way down to Hollywood, FL. Enjoy you stay.
