And I am aware an S2 is a higher category than an S3, but we WANTED an S3.  

We are obviously thankful to be going on a cruise.  I just don’t appreciate that we spent hours choosing to specific stateroom for our expensive vacation and without any explanation being told we must move.  

S3, not V3. 

Just got a call from Celeb that our specifically chosen S3 on our upcoming edge cruise this Saturday that our cabin has been “blocked off” and we will have to be moved.   We were told we will be moved to an S2, which doesn’t mean anything to me.  We chose the cabin we chose very specifically, an aft view V3 with the larger balcony.  Nothing was offered in compensation.  I asked if they could check on our MoveUp bids and she said we were showing up as eligible.   
 

Why would they suddenly block off the cabin we chose with not explanation?    I’m going to call and speak to the customer service team and express my frustrations.  

In your screenshot the Royal suite states “complimentary specialty dining” so you will have free speciality dining.   I believe this is a perk for Royal suite and above only, therefore not with Celebrity or Sky suites.

That will be quite unfortunate as most other cabins on our sailing are empty as well.  It wouldn’t be ideal for almost every suite to be sold and congest luminae and the sundeck while the rest of the ship is empty.   🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi all, 

We are booked on the Edge in October and while looking at the upcoming cruises, all of the upper level suites (anything above celebrity Suite) say sold out on all of the dates.   However, we did get an email for move up bids.   Could Celebrity be holding these cabins for move up offers?  I was looking at the move up tracker and it seems some on the edge have been upgraded with fairly “poor” (not my word, celebrities - according to the bar thingy) bids. 
 

Sorry if this has been discussed before, just hopeful to win an upgrade!

Arriving on a Thursday at 10 am on the equinox and tendering to port.   I would love to do a catamaran excursion with stops to multiple places and not really feel rushed.  The research ive done (Martins, Captian Bryans) look like tours start around noon and last 3 hours.  Is this fun?  Are there any other more relaxed catamaran runs?  Should we take a catamaran cruise in Cozumel instead?  We are looking for some time on a cat. and seeing some cool things in the water... Any help appreciated?

Hi friends!  We are going on the Equinox in March and I need some help planning excursions.  I have been to most of the ports several times before, but my travel companion has never been.   We are going to Key West (in all of my travels, ive never been here...) where I think we will just walk around and see the town.  Any suggestions here would be nice.  

Here's the issue - We want a snorkel/catamaran day, a beach day, and maybe a cultural day.   So far I am thinking Maya Chan in Costa Maya, Catamaran in Cozumel, and 7-mile beach in Cayman.   Any place better for catamaran?  Any suggestions for day pass/property for Cayman? Any insight would be helpful.  Thanks!

We are on the Equinox right now. Drink limit is $15. Price per day is $69. We had premium as a perk so I’m not sure if how the upgrade would cost. Drinks look to be the same prices from months ago based on the research i was doing. The most expensive I’ve seen is $15 in the world class bar. There are beers in the gastropub that wouldn’t be covered but they are huge bottles.

Is packing/unpacking a task they can complete? Anyone do this?

Going to be in my first “suite” on Saturday and not sure what to expect. Does the sky suite have access to a butler? What are the services the butler can provide... aside from bringing dinner (we won’t have dinner in our cabin) or snacks at a certain time?

Leaving Saturday on Equinox. I had “strong bids” according to the website. We are booked in a sky suite. I put bids on for celebrity, Royal, and penthouse. All denied. Oh well. :confused:

Mentioned earlier, you lose perks if your bid is accepted? I’ve called TA and the email says all current promotions will stay. If I lose the perks we have, I’ll be very upset (go best with a LOT of OBC) but if we get a new cabin with the same perks I’ll be quite happy. We are in a sky suite now and I have moderate bids in on upgrades. Feedback?Thanks! 😀

The review that I posted the link to was a great help with planning our cruise. It has pretty much every menu (bars and restaurants) that there is! The Martini Bar menu lists ingredients for those drinks as well. Didn’t think I liked martinis and turns out I do! Just maybe not “regular” ones (or as my husband says “real” ones).

 

We plan to try making some of the drinks listed from WCB as well as the Martini Bar over the summer!

Very excited to be sailing on the Equinox in June. This will be my first cruise in the suite class (at the time of booking, the perks that came with the cabin made a better value than booking my usual aquaclass) and I have a question. I know that the sky suite does come with access to Luminea, but I was just looking over the Equinox deck plans and the description of Micheal's Club said it was for guests in all suite categories except the sky suite... So, will we have access to the club?
