I am not worried about the male driver, I actually would prefer a male driver for the reason of it being just the two of us. I think my mother is just worried because we have never been to the port and do not know what to expect. I did not know they had women drivers though so thank you for that info.

I am wanting to do a tour with the victor bodden tour place but my question is: It will just be my mother and myself (both females) alone for the tour. Would you think it will be safe enough for the two of us to go alone with the tour guide or is it something we should have an adult male go with us to? I really love the idea of a tour guide where we can choose what and where we want to go and do. My mother is just worried because it would only be us two with the tour guide. What does everyone think? OK, for us to go alone? or not advise it? This is our first time to Roatan so I am not sure exactly how it is there so hoping some fellow cruisers could answer this question. Thanks in advance.

I am wanting to ride the free ferry when we get to galveston and wondered how far it was from the royal caribbean terminal? Is it a distance where we should get a taxi to get there? Thanks in advance!

I saw somewhere that an excursion out of Juneau to watch whales had a hydrophone on board so they could listen to the whales. Is this something that HAL has as an excursion? I am going to do whale watching and curious if my excursion is like that.

Thanks for the information. One weird question to go with the hot chocolate....is there whip cream on the boat to go with my hot chocolate?:)

We are leaving out of Seattle for our cruise and have gotten the transfer from plane to ship to be safe. Are there any stores(walgreens, cvs,) or something like that in walking distance to the pier where we board?

Thank you Btimmer! Do you recommend anything on the ship as something I "need to do"? It is going to be my mom and I and I want to make it a special memory for both of us. We like the thought of the hydropool but not sure how much that will be. I can not seem to find it to even make a reservation....

I will be sailing out on the Eurodam to Alaska and am not much of a coffee drinker BUT LOVE my hot chocolate. Is this a free item or do I need to buy a beverage card?
