1. I'm a little confused on this. I'll be heading out on my first cruise this Halloween and saw the CruiseNext deposit form at the bottom of my edocs. I get the OBC they give you depends on how many you purchase, my questions relate to "saving" the current promo being offered. I've tried to do some looking around for this but haven't found much info.

When you sign up for this does it lock in your current promotion (UBP for me) for the cruise you take in the future? If so, does that take the place of whatever promotion they are offering at the time or is it in addition to it?

Since I'm leaving Halloween, would I have to sign up for it as soon as I get on the ship since the new November promo will be out the day after?

    Thanks

  2. We are sailing this Fall on the Getaway and have a few questions about the Cabana's in the Vibe Beach club....

Costs, $299 week for two, includes $100 OBC?

Can OBC be use for anything?

Any suggestion on which cabana 1,2,3,4 or 5?

We have unlimited drink package, can it be used at Vibe BC bar?

    Are cabana loungers cushioned?

Is there good airflow, or does it get too hot?

Can use gain access at all times, i.e. evening, later at night or is it hour restricted?

    Where do you purchase OB?

yes it includes the OBC and it can be used anywhere. I dont know if one is better than the other. I'd think it's personal choice.

The UBP can be used in Vibe.

I've heard the cabanas get pretty hot but I've also heard it can get pretty windy up there.

You can purchase them at guest services.

  3. The fact is for many jobs 80-90% of their paycheck is based on DSC.

Can you provide a legitimate, official source for this? Its so hard weeding through all the BS people spout out to make their argument seem like it's on a more solid foundation. This is an internet forum after all.

After reading thread after thread of people calling each other names and rattling off made up stats, its become quite obvious that no one knows where the money goes or how it's divided up. People make up their minds and pass judgement on how others should act and behave based on their own personal reference frame (their lives) without even the smallest attempt to try and understand the other persons opinion or viewpoint.

  4. Hi everyone!

My husband, daughter (16) and I are cruising for our very 1st time in October. Cruising on Norwegians Getaway ship. We are soooooo excited.

We are kind of nervous though too because we haven't done this before and don't know quite what to expect.....tips and tricks, etc.

Any newbie advice would be so appreciated! Thanks!

    Which cruise? The Halloween one?

  5.
Only legally valid up to a point in UK - there is a 'test of reasonableness' - a port change/time in port change would be seen as reasonable. This is a complete change of ship/itinerary/time - the whole cruise is being changed. That would never pass the reasonableness test - it is a fundamental change to the terms of the contract so would render the contract void. The injured party is therefore able to sue for damages to restore them to the position they were in before the contract existed.

Do I need to type this in upper case to get the point across to some posters?
What's "reasonable" to you may be unreasonable to NCL. What's "reasonable" to NCL may be unreasonable to you. See the problem with undefined terminology and bad law? :D
  6. So getting a low boarding number has nothing to do with when you arrive at the port? Also, how do you get to guest services when you board the Getaway? Never been on any NCL ships. I'll be on the Oct 31 sailing for 12 days, should I assume the passes will cost more that $79/pp?
