I had the same problem when I tried to order our medallions on the app on my phone. We were able to order them with no problem using the "web version" of the app that is in cruise personalizer on the Princess website. I have attached a screen shot that shows how to get to the "web version" in cruise personalizer if you want to give it a try. I hope this helps!

I also had issues and was able to use thie link provided above! Thank you to all who post these helpful comments!

  2. Am new to Princess cruises and realize this is for the land portion of the land-cruise tour we booked for July 7th this year. Having cruised on HAL twice before to Alaska, we wanted to go inland and this cruise’s itinerary persuaded us. Can anyone explain to me what this meal plan is and how to find information on Princess about it?

  3. My family is traveling on the Rhine in late June with Viking. We received our air assignments around 50 days out and made our seat assignments. Recently it’s showed up on our Viking itinerary. I’ve read that we need a lot of patience traveling internationally in these crazy times. Hopefully this will be the worst of our troubles. Enjoy your cruise!

I've used them in the past and was very satisfied. I recommend them all the time and other cruisers have been satisfied. They are a faith based operation and always respond to my questions or comments. And I really like that they quote tax included. I'm cruising from Cape Liberty in Feb and if I drive instead of taking the train, I will be using them at the Ramada.

I'm not keen about the Best Western location on the west side of the airport. That's not a hotel that we typically recommend.

Thank you Carol for your information. We are cruising on September 4th's Summit to New England/Canada.We have already booked SpringHill Suites at Newark airport. What transportation do you recommend my husband and I use to get to/from the cruise terminal? We we go directly to airport on return.

  5. All the "airport" hotels have a shuttle. Even some of the off airport hotels like the Newark Penn Station Hilton and Robert Treat offer airport shuttles. I've parked overnight numerous times at various hotels. When I chose a hotel for a park/sleep I spent more time reading endless reviews. I've left my car for a cruise at Fairfield Inn and what is now the Doubletree, but I would leave my car at the Ramada or Springhill Suites or any hotel on International Blvd over the line in Elizabeth.

Hi Carol! Thank you for giving so much good info.

My husband and I are going on the Celebrity Summit and booked a room at SpringHill Suites. I wish I had read this before doing so as I didn't give a thought about dinner; guess we'll just eat at the airport.

My question is what is the best transportation to/from the cruise terminal. We arrive and spend night on 9/3; ship leaves Sunday, 9/4 at 4 PM and returns Sunday 9/18 at 7 AM - we fly out EWR around noon same day.

Which transportation company do you suggest and what time for pick-up as we'd like to get to ship before noon? Can you also give an approximate cost?

    Thank you for your help.

    :)Annette
