We booked a package through a company.. includes airport pickup, hotel in BA for 3 nights, Tigre river tour, drop at ship and 3 nights at the Falls with tours .. looking forward to it. !!

We Fly out tonight and are going to Iguazu Monday through Thursday so I may have some pictures to post also  😎😎

This company was found by the other Cc traveler .. I have not personally used him. But he is very easy to work with and quick and professional response .  

We are on this cruise also.. just did another trip with luggage and the train .. it was exhausting…. This time sharing a car with another CC traveler.. door to door service .. certainly worth the price IMHO

I have that same sentence on our final statement from May 1… still checking the mail daily 🥹🥹🥹

Thank you for the advise.. I just emailed Princess through the contact method as you suggested.    We disembarked May 1,2022.   I couldn’t find my booking number.. so hopefully they will be able to locate my account!!

Here in England you have to transfer to another cruise 30 days before if you do not want to sail yet. We were due to sail on the 15th January on the Sky Princess. I decided to request a credit 25 days before but told it was too late. I understand there’s different booking rolls but it doesn’t seem right that you lose money or credits …so 😢 

Question for those in the UK… I read somewhere that when we get off the ship we have to leave the country that we cannot stay?? Is that correct?? We want to stay in London and travel around before flying home..

We are booked for April...but I am getting Princess emails to book excursions, dining, etc.....so still hoping we are good to go.    I haven't seen any Princess cruises cancelled so far !!!

We are on the August 28 sailing and would love to see kinky boots. But we’re not able to make reservations for our entertainment either… So how do we do that once on board? We’re newbies with NCL??

Anyone else nervous about the pre-cruise Covid test? We’ve been vaccinated for several months… Haven’t been around anyone with Covid but I’m so nervous that we will get there and test positive😩😩😩.  

Bird… thank you so much for all your excellent information on the encore. We are usually princess travelers but taking the encore the week of the 28th for two special occasions. Looking forward to it. Most of  the excitement for us is exploring a new ship and seeing what it has to offer. So I skipped over most of the pictures and the menus and the wine list because I like to be surprised when I get on board. But so nice of you to take your vacation to do this for everybody🤗🤗

We took at the inaugural cruise on pride of America with an all American crew. Worst cruise ever. All the crew thought they were on vacation..hanging over the rail’s watching the sites, watching us coming to Port. Service was awful ..room stewards were terrible ..passengers were running down the halls trying to get toilet paper and towels and empty their own trash. Most Young American workers don’t have the same work ethic or the need that some of the foreign country workers do.    They are happy to work and make much more than their home country can provide.

from experience.. I would be totally against an all American crew 😳😢

They are very slow these days with all going on.   Our cruise ended in January. Got a partial check March 20.. I emailed Customer Relations.. they disputed they owed me more.. I sent them copies of my final folio and the called me yesterday and said rest of the refund would be here in approximately 60 more days !!

Tip.. save your final folio showing the refundable OBC

we rebooked already Through our TA but all booked with Celebrity for February 2020 on Flora.. got half off second person and free air via Celebrity promotion... we had not received anything yet in the mail or credit card and original trip was still showing on our upcoming cruises.. but it took him about 3 days  ( Celebrity was very busy with all the cancellations) and we had the new booking and got a $2023 refund to our credit card already... we did 11 days with Quito ... I’m feeling pretty happy 🥰.   
 

We were supposed to leave November 28 for the expedition but we all know that situation. So just re-booked for February 2020 on the Flora. And I’m actually getting a refund of about $3000 from the moneys I already pad and the generous FCC Celebrity gave us ..They are having a half off the second person free airfare. So fingers crossed that one will go🤞🤞🤪

This sounds like a very good option to me. You'd  still get to cruise the Galapagos, but on Flora (which costs about double of Xpedition). AND you come out $600 ahead.  Am I missing something?

I was hurried on the phone ( house full of people for wedding dress shopping), 16 for early Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, so couldn’t think and make a snap decision.. but after more consideration it could have. Been an option. Even a good option.. but trying to get a date around our daughters wedding and activities, as well as other booked trips, couldn’t make it work.  Plus it didn’t include airfare, which the original cruise did, so just said send me the credit and I would try to figure it out later... 

so hopefully over the next year I can watch prices and sale perks and make thing work .. very generous offer for sure.. but limited availability as our real life vs travel life goes on

If you choose to use the FCC on Xpedition, I do think they should honor that,  no matter what future prices look like. It's their own error that the passenger count is so low!  

They told me they could book me on Flora in June 2021 but it would take all the money that I already paid almost $12,000 plus the $12,000 future cruise credit. And I would get $600 refund. So going from a $12,000 cruise to a $22,000 cruise didn’t seem like a deal to me. Even though half of it was free. I thought I might find better pricing and better perks later on my ownThey told me they could book me on Flora in June 2021 but it would take all the money that I already paid almost $12,000 plus the $12,000 future cruise credit. And I would get $600 refund.

If so, not only is that wrong but I guess it will be a suite on one of the most expensive cruises out there.....

OK , it’s official.. I just got the call our cruise on 11/30 is cancelled..  Flora is full.. so no options for us.    Was out when I got the call...  so  I’ll call back to find out what the compensation is.😢😵
