BALCONY VIEW? Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstruction was an issue - No obstructions..great view as it was on the hump.

BALCONY SIZE? Normal or oversized for class? - Oversize balcony on the hump.

ANY SPECIFIC PROBLEMS WITH THIS CABIN? - No

ANY OTHER COMMENTS? - Bed is next to the balcony. Sofa is not a sofa sleeper.

I emailed Mr. Bayley’s office and received a call back today from a gentleman named Peter John Samuels. He stated that the website was changed in error. There were mix ups between bungalows v cabanas and Labadee v CoCo Cay. The website should be changed soon to have the correct info. I’m not sure about any of the other rentals available, but the Beach Bungalows at Columbus Cove on Labadee have a guest limit of 8.

They indeed changed the number of occupancy from 8 to 6...perhaps it's just now showing up on the planner for new bookings.

Do you know exactly when they made that change?

How far are these bungalows at Columbus cove are they accessible for someone with a scooter

I’m not sure how the terrain is for a scooter..specifically up over the little hill by the vendors huts. But if you can navigate that hill, then the hard path goes right behind the bungalows.

Does anyone know exactly when they changed the number of guests allowed in the Beach Bungalows at Columbus Cove? When we were there in Nov 2017 there was a maximum of 8 guests allowed. The cruise planner now states that a maximum of 6 guests are allowed.

How long does it usually take for them to apply the OBC for RCI? And can you use it ahead of time for Cruise Planner purchases?

It took a couple of days for it to hit our account, and yes, you can use it ahead of time for cruise planner purchases.

HELP! We booked direct with MSC on Jan 3rd. I just happened to look at the details of the myvegas reward for the $250 on board credit and well it says for yacht bookings only...boo on that one. But I'm reading on the $100 onboard credit and it says it must be redeemed within 30 days of a new cruise but it also says must be used within 30 days of purchase. Our cruise isn't until March 10th so we won't be using it for over 30 days. Or am I ok if I redeem it now and get it on the booking?

It just needs to be applied to your reservation within 30 days of booking your cruise...also needs to be eithin 14 days of claiming the reward.

Sweet! Just received my confirmation! We are good to go, crisis averted!

Has anyone had any issues booking recently? I sent a request and they came back right away saying they have availability, but when I sent in my reservation, I never heard back. I have sent it in 3 times now without a reply. I tried to call and got a message that the number was not in service.

 

I sent an email to the website today, hoping to hear something back.

 

I checked my junk and spam folders, but nothing, and the original email came through ok, so I'm confused...

Does anybody know when they reload rewards. There used to be a reward for 250 obc for rcl but it is not showing up anymore. Not even to say that it is sold out

They are no longer offering the $250 OBC. On another thread someone mentioned that in communication with the RC reps that this will not be offered in the foreseeable future.

Just to confirm...multiple people on the same reservation in the same cabin can each have an OBC reward applied. I lucked out and got one of the last $250’s before they 86ed them. My husband just had a $100 applied.

So you only sail Celebrity, but you were on Anthem?

Maybe where they ask for an address you could just put ‘In Transit’...?

Price out getting 2 of the 2 bedroom Aqua Theater Suites instead...the additional perks are well worth the extra cost it they are something that you would utilize anyway. Just a thought :)

I guess it would depend on the situation. But I may be compelled to say to the passenger what the crew member would get fired for saying. Nobody deserves to be verbally abused regardless of their job or position. A certain amount may be tolerated, but if you cross the line then you deserve to get as good as you give.

Bring back DDT!!! They were eradicated in the U.S. We banned DDT, they were brought back through immigration and travel, and now we have a problem that has grown exponentially in a very short period of time.

Pictures I have seen of the 2nd bedroom make it seem kind of cramped. Any pictures or comments?

 

Gratuities are included in Star, but should we tip the Genie and/or Stewards extra?

 

Is there added cost for special meals or parties?

 

Since you get free Beverage Plan would that apply to in-suite alcohol?

 

They mention specialized tours and the like. Costs?

 

Obviously I am trying to get the most out of this cruise and appreciate all input.

The Genie is not tipped as part of the prepaid tips. We had 8 adults, each tipped individually and I do not know what others tipped, but my husband and I gave our Genie $200 and our room steward $100.

The mini bar is included with your Star perks and you can arrange through your Genie for more soda and water to be delivered, as well as beer. The cabin was not cramped, but the second bedroom is a bit small, however I'm sure that 3 kids will be fine in there. We had a free bridge tour.

We were on Harmony in Feb 17 in ATS 8330. Our Genie was Reyno but I believe he was going on vacation shortly afterwards. I know that Harmony also had Alexandra at the time. Can't remember #1 but it was a guy.

That's my cabin!! LOL. I think the other Genie is probably Sebastian. He was on our sailing in November and had 2 more cruises before home time, then I believe it was January when he returned back to Harmony.

We stayed in a 2 BR ATS on Harmony..cabin 8330. It was absolutely fabulous! Watching the shows from the balcony was amazing! Be sure to communicate ahead of time with your Genie and let them know things that you would like to do. We had 8 adults in the cabin, so it was a bit much with just 2 bathrooms, but we made it work. I really don't think there were any cons..it was so amazing. Some of our group didn't like the long walk to the elevators, but other than that there really were not any complaints. Enjoy!!
