I am taking my mother to Panama Canal cruise in October. My mother owns Chinese passport. She is also the legal permanent resident of the United States. The ports that we will stop by will be Guatemala, Columbia, and Costa Rica. I have been trying to find out if I need to apply the tourist visa for her. I can't get any help or advice from NCL. What should I do? Should I take her to those different country consulate in Los Angeles to apply for visa? In what route should I ask for advice?

Hello my fellow cruisers, I will be on the Pearl to Panama Canal full transit cruise from 10/5/2016-10/20/2016. We are leaving LA, and arriving Miami. My mom has the green card. Do you have any idea or suggestions of applying visa for my mom to go through all those countries? I know, as American citizens, we don't need to apply for visa to Mexico, Costa Rica, Columbia, or Panama. What about my mother, who holds Chinese passport, yet she is the permanent resident for the United States.

On the last 7 days cruise I had on Jewel, we did not order any in suite meal. We had all breakfast in the Haven courtyard, using the courtyard valet. I tip the valet double the amount as the butler. I hardly used any service from concierge, so I tip him the least.

That's the part I don't like, waiting in the line. Maybe we can call to request to take it into the account.

how much did you leave for them? And how long your cruise is? And how many people in your suite?
-
I sure like your butler. What's his name?

I was just back from the Jewel NCL for the Mexican Riviera cruise. I had a two bedroom family villa in the hevan level. My Butler was very good to us throughout the trip. I tipped my Butler the morning before the disembarkation. And he disappeared after that. He did not even replace the fresh fruit bowl that he always do for us. I wonder if I tipped him too early.

Hello. I need the advice on when to tip the butler and concierge. Should I tip them when I need the service? Should I wait till the last day? Should I tip them part of it at the beginning of the cruise? What's the pons and cons?

The video does help. It looks like it will work for three kids or teens to fit in that 2nd bedroom. Does anyone know if the pull out sofa in living room can fit two adults?

Is the bund bed above the bed in the second bedroom? Does that person have to jump on that bed? Or is there a step to get there? How to ger off that bund bed?
-
In worst case, I will let my brother and sister-in-law stay in the second bedroom, and my son in the bund bed above them.

It sounds like the original plan will be perfect.

It will be ideal. But all the Suites and Haven suites have been sold out. And my brother and sister in law are coming from China to visit us. Can't leave them at home by themselves.

Hello everyone. I have booked a Haven 2 bedroom villa through NCL jewel this December to Mexican Riveria for 7 days. Originally the group will be me, my mother, my son (12 year old), and my husband. Now my brother and my sister in law are planning to join us also. I understand that the 2-bedroom villa are supposed to hold 6 people. But I am worried about the size of the second bedroom, and if it will be too crowded for everyone. I am looking for the ideas and suggestions.

I also heard Costa Rica grands automatic visa to US green card holder. But what if the clearance person on the cruise line does not know about this?
