Thank you for this great information. I"m leaving on Carnival Paradise,  September 14-19.  I'm just vibrating with anticipation. I'm glad I will not need a tour, I have friends in Cuba. I was worried about how to handle the visa and any other immigration formalities. Would appreciate any info you can give me.

I am traveling solo for the first time on Carnival Paradise Sept. 14-19. I am looking forward to it. Like others on the site, I think I'll love doing things on my time. Most of my friends are involved so there are always so many layers of negotiation in planning. Can't wait to go!!!!

I have had the same problem. First my name was only name listed for the spa. Called them to confirm payment. Then my name was missing and my roommates name was there. They did confirm both payments. My suggestion is to not only print out receipt but check on the status of payments 30 days before sailing. Can't wait for my 21 day cruise in January.

I will be on the Epic in January, have already booked the spa. Used the thermal spa on the Celebrity Summit and was there everyday. Lovely way to begin or end your day!!! Counting the days.......

If, at the end of the first leg you have reached Platinum level, on the second day of the second leg, talk to the onboard consultant. Since it has been 24 hours since you reached Platinum it should be in the consultant's computer so can be changed at front desk and you can get new key showing new status. That is what we did.
