Yes, I loaded the 4 different cards. 3 that I used to pay off existing cruises all worked, the 4th that I tried the gift card with did not.

Has anyone tried using it for purchasing OBC???

I bought a Princess gift card with one of my Amex cards. It did NOT trigger the credit. Just thought I would let you know. :(

Thank you for the correct link and information on opening new online accounts for each card. I was able to add the offer to my Amex Blue, Hilton and Delta!!! :)

You do have to disembark. It is a simple process. You meet at a designated area at a specified time, get off the ship, wait in a waiting area for the ship to be cleared by customs then re-board. You do not have to repeat the muster drill.

You still have time to get your documents. But don't worry, if for some reason you do not get them, all you need is your passport. Have a great cruise!

Could you check your patters and see what bands are playing in the Wheelhouse and Explorers? We are thinking of booking a cruise for next month but always like to know what bands are playing. Thank you. :)

We stopped in Korsakov last year. The ONLY way to get off the ship without a visa is to take a Princess tour. They only offered 2 tours on our cruise. One was basically getting of the ship and and visiting the town. This tour sold out very quickly. The other tour was to a small town about an hour away, not worth going to but at least you got to get off the ship in Russia.

Just want to give some well earned praise to Rockin Paradise Duo on the Crown Princess. This talented duo played in the Wheelhouse bar and were able to play a variety of dance music that suited every taste! They played Cha Cha's, Tango's and every other type of ballroom, plus Country Western, line dances and rock and roll!!! They do a great job of reading their audience and playing what they want to dance to! In addition to their wonderful music, they played dance music tracks during their breaks. Rockin Paradise made our cruise fabulous!

You should get a confirmation within a day or two. Where you can check is with your online documents. Log into the Carnival site and go to the Manage cruises. Select your booking then go to "print documents". Scrolling down through the documents (page 2 or 3), you will find where it lists the OBC.

 

You can also contact Carnival via phone and they should be able to confirm this as well.

Wow, that is not a good scenario. If cruise lines can stop honoring fully paid confirmed bookings we are all in a heap of trouble.

After my recent purchase of Carnival stock I am applying for the shareholders credit for the first time. I have 2 upcoming cruises, one Princess and one Carnival. This morning I sent the information requested to both Princess and Carnival. The Princess web site has already posted the credit to my booking. However I cannot find any place on the Carnival web site to confirm the credit. Can anyone tell me how I can confirm my OBC with Carnival? Thank you

Can anyone tell me what band is playing in the Wheelhouse bar and any other dancing venues on the Caribbean Princess? We will be cruising in June and like to find out a little bit about the bands before we go.

In another thread MSC_USA states that this has been withdrawn for the Carribbean cruise dates. Has anyone successfully booked and received the Allegrissimo Escape carnets on a Divina cruise out of Miami?

 

Would love to know if the Escape really is available, or it's a case of MSC not using simple skip logic on their website to remove that from the drink options on the Divina dates.

I am sailing on the Divina March 8. After calling MSC and not having any luck, I took the advice of Camofwilliamsburg and asked my TA to book the Allegrissimo Escape Carnets for me. I just got confirmation from him yesterday that he WAS able to book them for me. Hope this helps you.

How many dancing venues are there? What kind of music do they play? What kind of crowds were there?

Also, we leave on the Divina March 9, when should we expect to get our documents?

And... the drink coupons. Grrr I have been trying and trying to book them on line, but the site just keeps taking me in circles. Spent an hour on hold with MSC, finally got through and they said they would email a form for me to fax back. That was 3 days ago. Any suggestions on how to get this booked before we sail?

1. Boarding time for us in December 2012 was about Noon, December 2013 was about 1pm, we were among the first to board

2. Dining times are unchanged, dinner was about 6:30pm and 9:15pm

3. about 30 - 45 days prior to departure I am always able to print out the boarding passes and luggage tags at the same time, You will have to fill out a brief health questionnaire prior to boarding.
