  1. Why? that storm isnt going to come close to Florida till about monday/tuesday.

your ship will leave port no problem. It will go somewhere. it may not go to Nassau but go to a different port instead but it will go somewhere. anywhere the ship goes it will be a worth while cruise. Carnival is used to things like this and tropical storms and hurricanes isn't anything new to them. they will go around the storm and make the best of it. For those leaving on a short cruise friday or saturday and returning monday or tuesday I bet you get a bonus day at sea while the ship waits for the storm to clear enough to go into port. I'd be all over that.

We have to be back to work on Tuesday and our return flight to Nashville is Monday at 3 pm

  2. LOL, and they are still changing the paths of this storm and even removed some of the projected paths and models just a few minutes ago. I just looked again and now they only have 1 model path showing it hitting Florida and the others skirting of the coast and then back out to sea.

Like I said its falling apart. dont make changes to your plans yet. give it another day. I'll try to make another one of my updates in a couple hours and then again first thing in the morning. A lot can happen in 24 hours.

    Thank you for your insight!

  3. I will be on that cruise with you.....

We should have no problem leaving Miami, but coming back on Monday is going to be an issue. My guess is that we will probably go to Mexico and then float around until the storm passes. Might get an extra day!

If that happens what do we do with non refundable AA plane tickets coming back on Monday?
