  1. I, too, had this problem on my last cruise. I was so bloated, I had to buy a new pair of jeans to wear home! By the time I got home, the jeans were too big!! This cruise I am taking bottled water with me. Crystal Lite has little flavor packets to add to bottled water and I am taking a couple boxes of those, too. I especially like the Raspberry Ice! There is no sodium or any calories in these. I drank a lot of tea (like contiuously all day long!) and won't do that this time. We'll see if it helps! I'm leery of taking any diuretics...I seem to be in the bathroom all the time as it is, don't want to be there the entire cruise!!!

  2. Wow...thanks for the heads up, Ken! I booked the Holiday Inn Express. I'd rather be safe, but the other Days Inn, from the reviews I've read just seemed too dirty. The least we want is a clean room in a safe neighborhood!

Ken, thanks for the information! (Ehpride happens to be my dd and vacation planner!!) I don't want fancy or expensive, but I DO want clean AND SAFE!!! I feel much better about our time in Tampa now! Thanks again and stay safe down there. We'll be thinking about you and praying for the best!

  3. Hi everyone! I know this is really supposed to be about motels, hotels, etc. but I'm hoping someone living in Tampa can help me out a bit. My dd, dm and I are flying into Tampa on New Year's Eve for a pre-cruise stay. We are wondering what we might find to do in Tampa on NYE? We are staying in a motel near the airport and would like to go somewhere classy, fancy, fun. We are planning on dressing up (Think cocktail dresses...sort of formal night dresses) so we want to go somewhere NICE...not outrageously expensive but classy, you know?!
