Hi, I've heard back via this email link, they said there contacting the ship and will get back to me.
http://support.ourcruisephotos.com/
I'll let you know what happens and when.

Thanks for your replies. Yes, worried about the email address given......not good to ask a lady after two chocolate Martinis. I've email them and awaiting there response. ;p;p;p

I wonder if X will also increase the price of the Classic, narrowing the spread to upgrade. Or maybe this is a way to slow down on the upgrades to Premium? Too many people upgrading?
I think its more a case of increasing the profits. So many people get the Classic as a perk and would perhaps think nothing of paying USD16+ pppd to upgrade onboard. USD69 pppd outright is a shocking amount if money. It becomes a point as to whether I could or indeed should be drinking that much to break even.....even considering, alcoholic and nonalcoholic consumption.

I'll post it on my Roll Call, thank you everyone for your input. Thought this might be the case, so will definetly purchase the dining packages before hand.

This is the link to the PDF on Royal Caribbean Cruise Limited corporate info on Standard, Classis and Premium and what they include.
http://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celeb...ages_Flyer.pdf
It's on this link that it mentions the new USD69 per person per day as of the 15th May 2018. If nothing else, interesting to see what brands and items are included in each package.

Thanks you! I’d intended to wait a few months (assuming there would be another flash sale) before booking packages for our TA. Thanks to you, I’ve saved $120 by booking now. I think I owe you a cocktail;)
By the time you'd bought me one at onboard Celebrity prices the saving would have gone down to 80 bucks. Haha, enjoy. You have to play them at their own game. Regards, Georgina

Thank you all for your replies. I have just spoken to Celebrity in the UK and they said that I had a different promotion and did NIR qualify for a change without loss of deposit. I'll just be mindful when booking in the future and deffinatly look into the USA angle. Presume they are equally going to try and close the loop holes, with the option now of a non refundable deposit. I have at least the USD200 to offset some speciality dining costs. Fingers crossed I can bag a few 3 night dining packages to put it to good use.

I booked a cruise direct with Celebrity eight weeks ago for 30th March 2019 on the Millennium. I noticed today that the total price has dropped by £600 for our outside cabin and still has the same perk included. I called today and got through to the USA call centre. They said the best they could do was to offer me USD200 total (£144) or I could cancel and rebook losing my deposit, which for my husband, me
and the kids equates to £600. Any advice?

Just off the Infinity 2-17 April. A 330ml bottle of Stellar Artois was USD10 + 18% gratuity. USD7 + 18% for a 330ml Corona Extra. They price it so you think that the USD55 + 18% is a bargain.... I think not...it's just that their ripping you off on the individual items.

I have read that on some Summit sailings you can pre purchase drinks coupons, but only on selected sailings. Ask your travel agent, if you have used one.

Personally, I wouldn't be encouraging my children, two boys of 17 and 20 (21st birthday, whilst onboard on our forthcoming April trip) into x-box.....they festor long enough on the thing at home. Last year on our two week Caribbean trip, they had a mavoulous time and socialised daily with other youths on board, mainly USA/Canadians. Either, yes.... talking....playing cards, chilling in the jacuzzi or playing football, volley ball and occasionally attending the shows with their new friends. A lot like I did on family vacations when I was young....before the internet took over.

Thank you, that's really helpful. Do they have a Murano equivalent?
-
Thank you for your quick reply. Any ideas what they charge onboard for the 3 and 4 night packages? Do you know whether they ever discount these? We would be buying four.
Aside, is there a good Apple shop onboard?

Can I purchase a four dinner pp dining package whilst onboard our Celebrity Infinity forthcoming Panama Trip? I have OBC and wondered how much it would cost in USD?
Which restaurant would give us a good view going through the canal area or will we be through and in open seas by then? It will be my sons 21st Birthday on that day, so planning a special meal? Very excited, as only five weeks away!

I am travelling on this cruise.... if your on the Miami to San Diego trip, 2 April. Travelling with my husband Nick and our two boys Lloyd (20) and Marcus (17). We are from Manchester in the UK. Glad to hear that there are other families on board. Regards, Georgina

Travelling with husband and two teens and thinking about buying a dining package. They'll probably only be interested in going to Murano and Qsine, leaving one each left over. Could my husband and I use their third meal to try and extra one in infect on our three inclusive. Proposing to perhaps try the a lawn Club and Tuscan Grill? Do they all have to be booked online, pre cruise or can you make reservation when onboard?

Just been offered free beverage package, as a UK customer on next year's European routes.

It's always cheaper generally to buy a return ticket, even if you don't end up taking/needing the return flight. Other than that, have you any frequent flyer miles to spend on a flight? As a Brit, it's sad to say...avoid flying through the UK, because of the UK air taxes...this can add considerably to the overall costs. Have a look at skyscanner and secretfying websites.

Thank you so much for your efforts. I can't wait to sail on her!

Stayed in a inside J cabin on the Nieuw Amsterdam and my husband and sons had their dinner shoes shined...you put them in the basket that's in the bottom of the wardrobe and placed them by the door. Thy got returned later that evening. No idea who shined them, but they came back gleaming.

Hi, stayed in room 10001 August 2015 with husband and two teenaged boys. Not much room when the bed settee is out...you have to hop over it to get onto the balcony. We had the extra bit of room by the door....used it as a changing area.....as this cabin is at the end of the corridor. On the big PLUS side...Loved it's location to the Crows Nest, Exploration Café and outside areas. Used to nip up to the Cabanas area in the evening. Handy for happy hour, quite morning Latte and chocolate covered strawberries that used to be put out at 6 pm.

Just off a Caribbean back to back cruise on the Neiuw Amsterdam. Got off for the day in Port Everglades half way through. Having disembarked with all the other passengers and their luggage, I really don't think the immigration office was concerned or aware of what we had with us when we got off the ship...A couple of big bags with all the kit and bits for a family. I think the second time we did it...Luggage and all we had immigration papers with us. Not sure if that helps.

Just off the Nieuw Amsterdam 3 April and missed our last port of call due to delayed departure of over 14 hours from previous port of Dominican Republic due to gale force 8 wind's pinning us to the dock and us not being able to disembark. Would you normally receive any compensation or is it divine intervention? We were very disappointed to have missed Key West! A long way to come from the UK and at great expense not to see a port.

Many thanks for the replies. Just booked our next trip on the Nieuw Amsterdam, 14 nights 20th March 2016....very much looking forward to it....hope this weekend's hurricane doesn't cause too much damage.
