Just returned from our cruise last week. We did the Shark/Ray tour with Hammerhead via Coral Breeze. The tour was very enjoyable, but did get off to a rocky start. We ended up sitting in a hot boat for approx. 45 minutes waiting for another ship to finish tendering in. We were not even offered beverages (which are included) until after we finally left for Caye Caulker. I had to get off the boat and go buy some water for myself and my family to cool down. Normally I would not make an issue out of the wait, but it was well after the time the tour was to start. I don't believe the other ship was late, just that the Coral Breeze did a poor job with the planning. We would have not had an issue walking the port for an hour and shopping if we knew. The tour was very enjoyable when we did get going though, and I would recommend, though service seemed a little better in the past.

On another note... for our upcoming cruise, in 2 days!!:D :D :D , Our party had split up between 2 different coral breeze tours. One of them had to be canceled due to a lack of participation. Coral Breeze was very fair in that they allowed a change to a second choice with a generous discount.

We did the Shark/Ray alley tour with Coral Breeze in 2005 and had a great time. We saw countless rays and at least 6 nurse sharks came right up to the boat. I have several underwater pics of nurse sharks. The staff said the sharks normally leave when people enter the water, but these stayed around for quite some time. We will be in Belize again next week and I am taking my son on this same tour... I'm hoping Hammerhead does a comparable job to Coral Breeze, they were excellent.

I have a question about passports. Does anyone know why they must be valid for 6 months after your trip for some countries??? If it hasn't expired, it should still be good. Maybe they should be good for 10 years and 6 months.
