We were on Seaside for Christmas in the YC and I had to laugh after I unpacked and was putting the suitcases under the bed there was a roll of toilet paper still in the plastic of a four pack. The tissue box was empty.
I took the box out from the holder, that was not easy to do but left it there figuring they would get the point. We had to ask but once we did not only did they fill it but left an extra box and extra toilet paper too. As we used the wash clothes they were replaced. However, I admit after all the comments on CC I was prepared. Packed tp, kleenex and old wash clothes. Didn't use any of them and we left the roll under the bed for the next person to find.

So .... I've got a little more information on the subject.
The concierge will supply the extension cord, but it only has a European plug, so you need an adaptor if you have an American plug.
Also the sockets are not all located in the same places in all the cabins as there are different configurations
thank you, you have been a big help

Beamafar,
I have a question regarding the room you're in. Is there a place to plug in a Cpap machine by the bed?
Thank you for all your posts of the Yacht club. Can't wait.

well i got tired of looking . Told our TA to book us in the Hilton Blue Lagoon Miami . Now all we need is a transfer to the hotel from the fort lauderdale airport when we land
There are several I've been looking for transportation to Miami from Ft. L and here are a couple I found http://www.lauderdaleexpress.com/. https://www.gojiffyjeff.com/rates/

Hey everyone, it has been a while since I posted but I'm looking to book another cruise. My wife and I sailed on the Seaside in February 2018 (our first ever cruise) and loved it. We are currently looking to book another cruise for March of 2020 with our two kids (ages 6 and 3) and my wifes parents. My in laws didn't like the itinerary for the Seaside so it looks like we will be booking the Meraviglia instead. Here are my questions:
What should we expect to be different between the Seaside and the Meraviglia?
We were hoping to get a family room but they're all booked. We will now be getting an interior and a balcony instead. I'm looking at 13181 (balcony) and 13232 (interior). Any information or advice on those rooms?
In an interior roo. What do they have for beds for the 3rd and 4th person? I cant find any pics and am wondering if it is the bunk couch or fold downs.
How is the food on the Meraviglia compared to the Seaside? I'm assuming it will be different when it moves to the Caribbean anyways but....
Ehat other information or advice can you give me? I'm just starting to do research on the ship so it's all pretty new to me. Thanks in advance and I'm sure I will be asking lots of questions along the way. Dan
If you go to research and then ships, type in MSC Meraviglia you will find in the right corner a link to pictures. They have pictures of all the different levels of rooms. They also have pictures of Seaside if you research that ship.

What you have posted is a rant, there is no real detail, what ship you booked, when do you sail, how did you book?
All we know is your vouchers have been cancelled, by who (MSC/TA/Hearsay/CC forum?), how & when, did they email you, was it a phone conversation, TA?
You have not said what you have tried to resolve it and what the response was, you said they have refused to help. The content of the refusal could well be useful to others that are worried the vouchers will not be honoured.
There is another thread on vouchers being discontinued after a certain date (is it 31st Match?), if you have more information, it might be useful to participate in that thread.
At the same time you posted in another (status match) thread that MSC are the worst line you have cruised and on your last cruise they did not honour any of your perks, this begs the obvious question, if they were so bad last time, why book again?
I can only assume you wrote this, not to get help, but to "pay back" MSC as nobody can help or advise you properly without a lot more detail.
I really admire people who do their diligence. I totally agree with you. I don't know what pzsdd6 has against MSC but I find it difficult to believe all that was said. As far as the status match we received it no problem. Can't say what will happen regarding the drink package on our next cruise as we have not sailed yet. If something changes, it is what it is. My cruise is not all about drinking. We can't wait for our next MSC cruise on the Seaside, then another on a TA with MSC in 2020.
Just relax, breath in the ocean air and enjoy!

Last week we booked to stay in the YC on the Seaside sailing March 30th. Prior to booking, I was told that YC came with the Premium Plus package by TWO different phone agents. The funny thing is that both phone agents each brought up that they received emails recently stating this due to the confusion of so many people calling to ask about the YC drink package since the drink package changes.
I filled out the online form to ask, but I was never contacted. I wanted an answer in writing, so I messaged the MSC Facebook page. This is the response I received:
Hi Brandi, sorry for any delay.Yacht Club guests are entitled to a combination of benefits. The range of drinks included in this benefit are similar to the composition of PREMIUM package, but within the Yacht Club area there are other benefits like complimentary minibar, complimentary room service and special selection of complimentary wines during meals. Inside the Yacht Club as well as in all other venues on board, guests are entitled to all drinks from the bar list including premium. The Connoisseurs’ selection of spirits is not included as a Yacht Club benifit.
I know that we'll have to wait until either we sail or someone that has booked after the changes and sails before us can confirm for sure on board. I have also seen that the price to upgrade from the Premium package to the Premium Plus package is $17 per person per day. I'm wondering if it's the same price for a YC passenger to upgrade to Premium Plus since some of the Premium Plus benefits are already included with YC.
You will be sailing before us in the YC when you do will you please verify Thank you

The drug busts have nothing to do with ships security doing their jobs in fact they are proof that ships security is not doing the job because they allowed them on the ship. These arrest are the result of law enforcement working cases not ships security doing their job.
Did you ever think that maybe just maybe someone on the ship had turned them in? That the ships officers were told to let the police handle it for the safety of the passengers? Just saying unless you are privileged to ALL the information regarding the case you are simply making a lot of assumptions.

Not sure when you're sailing but can you post a review with pictures as we will be in that cabin for a TA April of 2020
Thank you and have a great time.

Jules;
Thanks for taking time to do this! Here's a couple things I think a lot of us would like to know about. First, I assume you booked before 11/18 so verify that they are honoring the included gelato, crepes, and chocolate drinks for free at Venchi. Second, verify exactly what you get with the YC drink package and if you can upgrade to the Premium Plus. Finally, FOOD! Please tell us what you think of the YC dining experience. Thanks in advance.
What she said please and thank you

Anxious to hear about your stay in YC interior cabin. We are balcony folks but can’t afford one in YC during our 2020 TA so have booked the interior. Aware storage will be super tight but other than that hope it’s worth it to sacrifice a balcony for the great YC service and amenities.
Hi Carrie AP. Just wanted to let you know there is a tool call being started for this cruise but so far it doesn't appear on the rool call list but if you look for MSC Meraviglia transatlantic April 12 it comes up. In case you want to join the conversation.

Thank you for posting all the lovely pictures we too will be taking the Meraviglia on the TA in April 2020 in the Yacht Club. It will be our first time on this ship.
Question: are any of the pools heated?

Looking forward to following along also. Thank you
