  1. Hello!  I've searched and searched for information about this aft cabin and not found much.  It is not listed on the spreadsheet here.  Does anyone know if the window washing equipment obstructs the view at all?  I would appreciate any and all information regarding cabin #9306.  Thanks so much!

  2. As an experienced cruiser, I'm trying to help some friends of mine select a great cabin on the Liberty of the Seas.  I have never sailed in an inside cabin, and I'm at a loss as to how to help?  Do the same rules apply to the inside cabins, or are there other things I need to tell them?  Midship, cabins above and below, .....any thing else specific to the Liberty??  I've spent tons of time searching, but with no success. I will certainly appreciate any suggestions you can offer!  Thanks so much!

  3. So great to read along as you sail on the Edge!  Thanks for doing this thread!

We are interested in an S1 corner aft, and I was wondering if you have an opinion on the deck that would be best?  It's really hard to know, and reviews are no where!  I'd really appreciate your opinion!  Thanks so much!

  4. I am absolutely sure there is information to be found about this topic, but....I cannot find it!  Thanks for any help you can offer.

I'm looking for a MIAMI motel to stay one night pre-cruise that will allow me to leave my car for the duration of our 7 day cruise.

Shuttle to and from the port would be an added bonus.  Not too worried about cost, just want my car in a safe spot!

Can anyone recommend one for us?  I'll appreciate your help!

  5. Searched, but no recent threads that I can find....

Has anyone chosen to pay in advance for their tours through Rome In Limo? We have reservations for September, and we'd rather pay by Credit Card now instead of carry lots of Euros to pay at the end of the tours. I'm a bit leary of their payment site, and I'm just wondering if anyone has had any difficulties with it?

Thanks for any info you can offer! I'll appreciate it!

  6. Ship arrives back to Oahu at 7am. Our flight isn't until 4pm, and we really don't want to spend all that time at the airport. (Sorry...the search feature isn't working for me!)

Any recommendations about what to do with our last portion of the day in Hawaii? Would love to hear some ideas....

    Thanks!!!

  7. Believe me, I've searched for this quick answer, and I'm not finding this info anywhere!

We will be on the Jewel out of Civitavecchia this fall. I'm setting up the transfers now, and I'm not sure what time to arrive at the port. Ship sails at 5pm. We always like to arrive early (10:30-11am) on our Carib cruises to be able to enjoy the ship on embarkation day.

Any idea what time the Jewel begins boarding?

    Thanks!

  8. Our flight leaves at 10:20am.

I feel like I'd like to get one more day of vacation immersed in a Rome neighborhood rather than staying at the airport. I know we will need to leave rather early in the morning, but transportation is already arranged, so that's not a problem. Thanks, though, for your thoughts!

The Hotel Santa Maria gets great reviews. I sure wish I could find some "first hand" reviews here! Thanks!

  9. Thanks so much! I continue to be overwhelmed with the vast amount of places to stay in Rome! I'm wondering if you can recommend a great hotel for our last night? I'd really like to be able to stroll the neighborhood and have one last authentic dinner before flying home the next morning. I'd rather NOT stay by the airport unless it's our best option. I'll appreciate your recommendations more than I can tell you! THANKS!

  10. Hello!

Believe me, I've spent much time searching for my info, but I'm not really coming up with much recent info. I'm hoping someone can help...

We will be spending 3 days prior to our September cruise in Rome. Our hotel is in the city center, close to all attractions. We expect to do most of our sight seeing before the cruise.

We will stay ONE NIGHT post cruise before flying out the next morning. We expect to be exhausted from the cruise excursions, and we are looking for a nice hotel in a typical Rome neighborhood that we can leisurely explore for our last day of vacation. We'd like an area that has lots of shops and great restaurants close-by and an area that will give us a more authentic view of life in Rome. Trastevere seems like a great spot, but I'd love some first hand knowledge.

Has anyone stayed in a great Rome neighborhood? Can you recommend a great hotel and nearby restaurant? I will be forever grateful for any and all suggestions! Thanks!

  11. Yes! Embassy Suites it is! So sorry for omitting that important info!

I know it's a short ride, but this is the first time I've had this many people in my party. Thanks so much for your quick replies.

Looks like price for cab/Uber is pretty comparable to the hotel shuttle, but I'm thinking it may be more convenient for us. Would a transfer company (car service) be any different in rates?

  12. Hello! I posted this on the Nassau board, but I'm sure to get more responses here. Family of 6 going to Nassau on Serenade in January. Older teens want to swim with the dolphins at Blue Lagoon Island. 3 Adults want to be observers only. Royal says we all must pay the high cost of the excursion. Marketing rep at Blue Lagoon says to go to the shore excursion desk after boarding and they will arrange the observer pass. It sounded like they do this quite often, but no one at RCCL knew about it. (I've called twice now.) I'm hoping to find someone who knows something about this, or has maybe even done it themselves!

    Thoughts?

  14. Tried to search, but no luck!

Can anyone tell me about the suite lounge on the Jewel? I thought it was just open in the evenings, but I've recently read about morning breakfast, also. Is there an outdoor seating area? It's just snacks/drinks in the evening, correct? How about entertainment? I'll appreciate any info you can give us! Thanks!

  15. Ugh....I have searched and searched for my answers, but I'm just getting more and more confused!

We will be in Nassau on Jan. 4th on board RCCL Serenade of the Seas. We are in port from 10:30 - 6:30 pm. We would really like to take our 3 teens to the Atlantis Waterpark and beach for the day.

What is the most economical way to do this? It will be two adults, and 3 teens ages 18, 16, and 13.

I will REALLY appreciate your help with this!
