Big Al, I'm new to cruising! Did one just a year ago and chose balcony for all your same reasons! We loved it! We cruised ncl getaway! We have a cruise scheduled now for the escape leaving end of January 2016! What is a hump room? Not sure how to choose the right cabin! We lucked out getting a spa balcony right in the middle of last ship! Though the aft seemed appealing yet farther from the spa!
