  1. If you are looking to drop a car off at Hobby, it makes no sense to drive to the port an hour away, drop off, then back to Hobby.

If we opt to drop off the car at Hobby we wouldn't drop off baggage etc. we would catch the shuttle with out luggage. We'd only do this if we were dropping at Texas City. I was wondering which would be the most easy and efficient.

  2. We will be driving from San Antonio the morning of the cruise. I figure if we're at Texas City my husband can drop us off with luggage, return car then catch a taxi to the port. The alternative is to go to Hobby and then catch shuttle to port. The cost would work out similar after factoring in shuttle for five or taxi. Is it realistic to drop off then return car? Any suggestions?

  3. Hi all,

First cruise, first time in Caribbean. We are experienced snorkelers and enjoy the beaches in Australia, so aren't really wanting on beach/drinking days.

I have booked Zip-lining & cave tubing in Belize with Butts Up, also we have booked Fun-in-Sun in Roatan with Bodden (which includes West Bay beach).

Cozumel is where I am stuck. I like to the look of Mystic River and Paradise Lagoon, however I am concerned it is similar to the cave tubing?

Alternatively, the snorkelling sounds great, although we intend to snorkel in Roatan.

We did consider the Xunantunich Mayan ruins in Belize, but thought the long drive would not be good for kids aged 16, 15 and 8.

    Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
